Dungeons & Dragons has an odd trio of non-game books on the way. Also, Ars Magica is getting an updated 5th Edition while a former D&D developer gifted DMs a big boss fight.

This week is a mixed bag as we start with some very sad news concerning an industry legend. After that, we’ve got new game announcements and Wizards of the Coast embroiled in controversy once again.

The traditional, and some would say correct, way to play Dungeons & Dragons is gathered around a table. Yet as the hit game Baldur’s Gate 3 shows us, there is a better way.
