When Limithron’s Pirate Borg game sailed onto the tabletop scene it was an instant hit, and it’s easy to see why. Combining the death metal old-school RPG vibe of MÖRK BORG with high seas piracy, eldritch foes, and a lucrative trade selling the psychedelic dust of undead sailors is the kind of gonzo concept that gives Pirate Borg its unique appeal.
So, when making a Pirate Borg character, you’ve got one of two options: letting fate decide everything for you, aka rolling on each table and letting the dice decide, or when asked to either roll or choose, read every option and pick what fits best!
If you and your crew want to venture the high seas chasing glory and gold, then the PG system will facilitate that, but if your party is going to be playing online, the Virtual Tabletop (VTT) you choose can determine if your game will sink or sail.
