This week, Dungeons & Dragons fixed some issues with its new Player’s Handbook, Greg Tito left Wizards of the Coast, Hex & Co workers staged a walk out, and Dimension 20 revealed a return to a beloved season. 

Dungeons & Dragons previewed the future while battling a controversy from last week, Cosmere RPG broke a huge record, Dungeon World returns from limbo, and Final Fantasy 14 sets second wave of pre-orders. 

In the August 27, 2024 DnD Direct, WotC gave one last preview of the 2024 Player’s Handbook, revealed future books, showed Project Sigil crossovers, and brought some surprises. 

WotC showed off its VTT at GenCon, content creators got punished for showing early previews of the 2024 Player’s Handbook, Brandon Sanderson scored a huge win, and Free League announced a new Alien update.
