StartPlaying unveiled its latest product today, StartNeighing: a TTRPG marketplace made with horse girls in mind.

“We want the community to know that when we say tabletop games are for everyone, we mean everyone,” said Devon Chulick, StartPlaying’s Chief Operating Officer. “60-70% of the TTRPG space is male, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Horse girls might be a niche part of the TTRPG market, but it’s their passion for their craft that inspired us to make a space just for them.”

Users now have the ability to choose from some of their favorite horse based game systems, like Dungeons & Drafthorses and Colt of Cthulu. The page also emphasizes terms that are familiar to horse girls of all ages, from “Find Gaits” to “Learn to Neigh.”

“Now, our users don't have to pick between their passion for horses and their passion for gaming, which is a common dilemma we’ve seen in our user research. Now it’s all there for them in one easy to navigate space,” said Sarah Murphy, a member of the Customer Experience team. “I hope this launch inspires all tabletop companies to think about making their websites a little more girly pop. The future is feminine!”

StartPlaying made no comment as to any future plans to make the website more horse friendly. “I don’t think horses can read,” said Nate Tucker, CEO of StartPlaying, “but if the data supports horse literacy, then that could be a step in the right direction.”
