AS FEATURED ON CNN https://edition.cnn.com/videos/entertainment/2023/04/14/hollywood-entertainment-solo-dungeons--dragons-roleplaying-game-startplaying.cnn I started playing DnD in 1977 when elf and dwarf were classes, not races. 45 years as a play 44 as a DM More years live action role play than i care to admit Five years dark age re enactment 789AD to 1066AD saxon viking and norman steel weapon combat and living history displays I do not use a VTT. Instead I live stream a video of a physical tabletop with tokens instead. Whilst I do use some theatre of the mind there is a table top for the more tacticle groups. Since the various lockdowns playing face to face became difficult so I came here. I favour RP-heavy games with dynamic combat. In other words, unless the AC is really obscure and the goblin has a 20 dex I tend to tell my players the AC, after all when you see a 14 miss and a 15 hit the cat is out of the bag. By knowing the AC you know if you hit or miss and can describe what happens rather than I roll 15 you hit roll damage 6 points ok next person, you roll you know you hit you say I slash the goblin across the face for 6 points. Happy to DM groups from their first game to very advanced. I will be running a mix of new modules and some old classics with a little homebrew thrown in for good measure LBGTQ+ Friendly

I have played for a total of 9 years and professionally DM for 4 years. With a mix of 5e, 4e, Pathfinder, Starfinder, Cthulhu, and Heroes Unlimited, all of them are great, fun games (some having more quirks than others.) My goals for a campaign are not to kill characters off, but push each person's immersion to their highest peak and enjoyment. I am a Storyteller. Painting a story around your chosen characters for a voted theme is my specialty. I use an equal amount of roleplay and creative puzzles, with a bit of combat every session. And I look forward to seeing how each group finishes an Arc, for it is rewarding to see the differences in each groups playthrough.

I love running character focused, story driven games that are roleplay forward with a good mix of action and problem solving to spice things up. I'm up for running all kinds of games but my favorite are the Trinity Continuum and World of Darkness games. While I can potentially run Solo campaigns my rate is $50 per session minimum. I do not run play by post campaigns.

Matt here! I fell in love with tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs) playing Dungeons & Dragons in 1989. I was eight years old, over at my friend's house, and their older brother ran the game. Though the game only lasted three weeks, I was hooked on the story, world-building, and absolute joy of the game. However, I couldn't find anyone to run e-games or be a Game Master. So, I accepted that role and turned as many friends I could into players, then began turning any players I could find into friends. My first love is the story and characters, and combat keeps it interesting. For a long time, a company called White Wolf made my favorite games. I ran those for years and gave up on D&D because most people I found at the time liked the rules more than the story, and I could never find people who enjoyed both. Then, Critical Role brought everyone out of the woodwork! After watching their streams along with Relics and Rarities, I started to explore D&D games again. And I couldn't be happier about this! About a year ago, I started making steps to turn my 30 years of experience and passion for D&D into a full-time, sustainable career. In one year, I found terrific players and, by the grace of God, have been able to become a full-time storyteller in the TTRPG space. See you at the table! I hope you will join the games and make amazing friends as we battle and work through fantasy life together.

It started with a few friends, a pile of crayons, and some six-sided dice. Hunched over a bedroom floor in the late ‘80s, we crafted adventures with reckless abandon—dungeons sketched in frantic lines, monsters marked up with battle wounds, and Parcheesi tokens standing in for heroes. Rules? Who needed them? The thrill of the story was all that mattered. Even before I owned my first D&D set, I was hooked on the magic of tabletop roleplaying. Decades later, that same passion still fuels every game I run. Years of playing across countless systems have taught me that while mechanics shape the way we tell stories, it’s the stories themselves that truly matter. I take the best of these experiences and weave them into my games, crafting epic campaigns that blend rich storytelling, strategic challenges, and moments that make players feel like heroes—fully immersed in the emotion of the adventure. Storytelling is my wheelhouse, character arcs are my passion, and I love crafting encounters that get hearts racing. More than just running a game, I aim to create experiences—where choices matter, characters evolve, and the dice feel like fate unfolding. Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to the adventure, I’m here to craft a story you’ll be talking about for years. So, grab your character sheet—let’s roll the dice and make something unforgettable.

I've been a GM for many different types of games over the past 12 years. My bread and butter is D&D 5e but I've also run Daggerheart, Avatar Legends, Stars Without Number, Shadowrun, Deadlands, Wildsea, and others. I'm super easy going, love crafting collaborative stories with awesome character arcs but also love to just goof off and have a good time. I pride myself on being flexible. Whether you like tactical combat, roleplay, or exploring an indepth world, I will match your energy with a vengeance. You also might call me a slightly "evil" GM, because I make my players very powerful... so that I don't feel bad for not pulling any punches! Mwuahahaha!

Hello Adventurer! 🧙♂️ 34 he/him ⚔️ My name is Teague Urquhart and I am a Game Master and super fan of Tabletop Role Playing Games! 📖 I have been a player of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) since 2018 and took up the mantle of Game Master (GM) later that same year. I love story-telling and aim to provide my groups with a solid narrative that can be explored and built upon. I'm always seeking to better my work and provide more immersive and entertaining experiences for my players. 🧑🏫 I am also a Educator and have worked in the field with youth for the past 6 years. I bring this patience and supporting skill set to my games. 🥾 I hike, forage, bird watch, and bushcraft as hobbies and bring this natural knowledge into my games to life. 🗣 Communication with my groups is ongoing and constructive to help new players explore the immersive worlds that TTRPGs have to offer without feeling like they have to learn everything the game has to offer on the first day. I am also a practitioner of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and utilise its techniques in my games. 📲 I also run a Roleplaying Discord Server with community of over 400 people.

I literally grew up playing D&D and other TTRPGs. Starting at my brother's table at 6 years old and continuing to this day. In my 30+ years of being a GM, I have written numerous stories, played/ GM'd variety of systems, built entire games, authored game supplements, and played in some livestreamed games. My table is a welcoming and inclusive place where we all can get together and have fun playing some games. I'm comfortable running games with all sorts of people from a wide range of ages, experience levels, nationalities, and identities.

I've been running games for over 20 years. I will work with players to approach problems their own way, even if that's outside the given lines. The world is alive and reacts to your shenanigans. Even when running modules, I delight in rewarding creative thinking to problems. Not everything has to be won in a battle, but I will handle that with grace too. I love my fantasy chess. Hi there! I'm a long time DM who's been running games for 10 years in 5th edition D&D mostly, with a few other ttrpgs sprinkled in. I'm mostly doing this for fun, so fun is my biggest priority. When it comes to running the game, I like to make things feel as balanced and challenging as I can while also giving my players opportunities to express themselves and goof around. I can be strict about the rules, but only because I think that consistent and reliable rules lead to more immersive games and encourage creativity through limitations. However, the most important thing is that everyone is having fun, and I'm not about to let the rules get in the way of anyone's fun. Also, I really enjoy roleplaying my characters and love to get my players invested in all the cool and wacky NPCs they meet. When it comes to managing the table, I like to keep a fun and laid back atmosphere both at the table and beyond. I like to think of all my players as friends, but at the same time, I am not afraid to exert my authority as DM if one or more players are creating issues for others at the table. I will not tolerate players being intolerant, abusing their fellow players inside or outside the game, or generally doing anything that upsets anyone else. If there is a dispute, I will do my best to mediate in a way that leaves everyone feeling understood and respected. And if I fail my duties as DM, I will do whatever I can to correct my behavior and make things right. I hope you'll give me a chance and we can have some awesome adventures together!

Experienced fantasy/comedy writer and GM helping others get into tabletop. My experience as a writer, along with studies on plot and character development and stage experience as an actor and singer, are all put here in service of telling you a story that's memorable and creating a world where you'll be the protagonist. All of my experience and knowledge is at your disposal, and new players will receive guidance not only on how to create characters, but how to better develop them into full, believable people I specialize in bringing out the funny, the quirky, and the odd in campaigns. Reacting to players' actions isn't only a part of the job for me, but my favorite part of it - creating situations and shaping the storyline between the players and the GM is the heart of tabletop roleplaying. If you're laughing or surprised, I've done my work. If you can come out of my table having learned the rules of the game and becoming a fine roleplayer, I've done my work. All my games are LGBTQ+ friendly, and my tables are safe spaces where people from all walks of life are welcome.

I didn't find tabletop RPGs until later in life, I knew about them and was always intrigued - I just never had the access. But I always enjoyed telling stories, and my imagination would always run rampant - something likely attributed to my mental health. I was diagnosed early on with generalized anxiety and depression, which only further limited my access to tables and the enjoyment of the game. Decades later into my late thirties, after going through college for mental health and addictions and challenging some of my fears and misconceptions (most expensive therapy ever!), YouTube channels like Acquisitions Incorporated, C-Team, and Dimension 20 inspired me. I found a local game that fit my schedule and immediately fell in love with the medium, and after a few years I took my turn as a host and that love boiled over into a passion. I started hosting online for friends using Roll20, but my constant pursuit for increased visuals, operation, and overall production brought me to FoundryVTT. I love that I can combine my focus on research and narrative development with the stunning automation provided by the platform, and my players always seem delighted (or terrified) by the scenes I've put forward. Similarly, I've always found my delight in developing rich stories with those players, coordinating events and backstories to give them a voice in the world and build it into their playground. I have never had to shout "I'm not crying, you're crying" so many times.

Hello everyone! My name is Robin, I have been a Dungeon Master for over 6 years. In this time I have ran a wide array of games: from one shots to long campaigns, from lighthearted quests to grimdark intrigue, from whimsy and fantastical to down to earth and realistic. No matter the setting or kind of game, my number one priority is making sure that everyone is having fun, enjoying themselves, and getting a fun break from day-to-day life. I'm currently GMing in Pathfinder 2e and DND 5e, and whether you're a veteran player or a complete newbie, I hope to get to roll some dice with you! All my games are LGBT+ friendly.

Hello Adventurers! My name is Kyle. I have been playing 5E since it's publication and have been DMing now for the past 5 years. I also am the Game Master for the show, MythCraft: The Podcast, released on the Homebrew Network found here https://www.buzzsprout.com/2295708/share. I have put in well over 5000 hours of campaigns and have picked up quite a few skills along the way. I have taken voice acting classes and use a voice modulator to offer more immersion into the games. I also wrote my thesis for my Masters on the therapeutic applications of D&D in group therapy sessions and enjoy utilizing the game in that fashion as well. I utilize both published and homebrew aspects in my games and like to focus on immersion and roleplay but am also very combat balanced as well. Come give me a chance and let me introduce you to the world of D&D 5E! Hope to see you there!

I'm a DM with over 7 years of experience running DnD 5e and have made the switch to Pathfinder 2e! I have run numerous one shots and full campaigns, including a homebrew campaign set in Lamordia. I pride myself on detailed, in depth worlds full of rich history and chances to influence the world in whatever way the players want! I run games on FoundryVTT and enjoy anything from hack n slash dungeon crawls to eldritch horror to intrigue. I run a Session Zero to make sure that I know what the expectations and desired story beats are for each player and will do my best to incorporate their back stories into the game. Hi👋, I'm Franc, better known as Golvin. I'd like to be your GM. While I mainly run D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and Alien RPG, my real pleasure is trying new modules and systems. (Cowboy Bebop RPG anyone?) Which has led me to a specialization in running one-shots, often including highly detailed handouts, pre-made characters, and other player aids. I also write the Reviews from the Far Reams Substack newsletter, currently focused on helping others get the most out of Call of Cthulhu 7e modules.

Greetings everybody! Call me Nathan (he/him)! I am a storyteller at heart who loves all forms of fiction. I run games ranging from pulpy sci-fi to gritty fantasy and everything in between. I especially love weird or non-standard settings. Superheroes in a cyberpunk city? Time-traveling fantasy adventure? Teenagers on a supernatural road trip? I'm all here for it. I believe that tabletop RPGs are a unique storytelling experience where everyone at the table becomes both author and audience to the shared story. Facilitating this shared storytelling experience is my primary goal as a GM. My games do not make use of generative AI for writing, music, or images. Storytelling is a fundamentally human experience, and synthesized plagiarism has no place in my games. I look forward to sharing stories with you! Profile picture created by Neo! Hello there, I'm Dessa, your friendly neighbourhood TransFemme Game Master and content creator over on Twitch! I bring over a decade of experience to the table and a love of TTRPGs that began all the way back with DnD 3e. Since then, I've delved into a wide array of systems, including Blades in the Dark, Warhammer Fantasy, Alien RPG, Powered by the Apocalypse, DnD5e, Conan, and my current love: PATHFINDER! I proudly welcome and support the LGBTQ+ community and it is my aim to have my virtual tables be a place where everyone can feel safe and comfortable with expressing themselves. As a GM I want to encourage my players creativity, to give them the space to play out their characters, and to cheer them on as they come up with the most absurd, out-of-the-box solutions to the problems they face. I’m not the adversary to my players, I’m their biggest fan! With Foundry as my preferred virtual table top, I bring a wealth of features to our sessions, including animated combat encounters, immersive audio, automated mechanics, and vibrant maps. There will be artistic scenes ready for those moments of theatre of the mind, and engaging battle maps when it’s time to zoom in on the action. All of this is made possible thanks to the numerous Patreon creators that I support to bring their amazing works to my tabletop. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a curious newcomer, I invite you to join my table for an unforgettable journey!

The number one rule of tabletop RPGs is simple: "Everyone should be having fun." That philosophy guides every game I run. Whether it’s diving into epic battles, solving mysteries, or roleplaying your heart out, my goal is to ensure we’re all enjoying the adventure together. So let’s roll some dice and make it happen! As a narratively-focused GM, I specialize in crafting worlds that respond to player backstories. I love creating memorable NPCs, engaging missions, and opportunities for character-driven storytelling. Collaboration is key: I’m always excited to work with players to weave their characters into the fabric of the world and develop arcs that will be talked about long after the final session. I also love my special effects - I edit loops of music for optional background use, create custom tokens, and utilize scenes, maps, and animation to help draw players into the story. Most of my games contain slightly less combat than is the average, but I'm more than happy to bring the game to fisticuffs more often if that's what the players enjoy. When I’m not running games, I’m reading books, watching videos, or otherwise expanding my knowledge of TTRPGs to keep evolving my style. My sessions are organically planned, focusing on story and player agency. While combat isn’t always guaranteed, I’m happy to adjust its frequency to fit the group’s preferences. A TTRPG isn’t defined by its Game Master — it’s defined by the collaboration of everyone playing, GM included. The world we create is ours to shape together. So, grab your dice, bring your imagination, and let’s tell the next unforgettable story in gaming!

Hey, I'm a GM with several years of experience in many different systems such as D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer 40k/Fantasy TTRPGs and Traveller. I do worldbuilding for fun and as a space to play various game systems. I just really like creating worlds to play in or have others play in with it's own lore. Most, if not all, of the D&D campaigns I run take place in the World of Aeverna which is a High Fantasy setting using D&D as it's base.

Looking for a Dungeon Master who puts you in control of the world? Look no further! I'm Nick, and I specialize in crafting immersive, player-driven adventures that keep you at the center of the action. If you're keen to watch me DM before applying, I've recently started a youtube channel where I play D&D with my IRL friends that I originally got into the game with, take a look here!: https://www.youtube.com/@D20Dilemma Take control of your world – Your choices shape the narrative. The world reacts to your decisions, and you'll feel like you're steering the ship every step of the way. Reactive NPCs – Every non-player character responds to your actions and interactions, making for a dynamic, evolving story with unexpected twists and turns. Funny random encounters – Humor is never far away! From bizarre situations to unpredictable moments, you'll never know what's around the corner. Distinctive-sounding NPCs – With my knack for voices, you'll never confuse one character for another. Every NPC has their own unique sound and personality, adding layers of immersion to your adventure. Whether you're craving epic battles or hilarious encounters, I weave your backstory and goals into the heart of the campaign. My games prioritize role-play, and I'm all about the Rule of Cool—because if it's fun, it's happening! Let’s build a world together that’s as unique and exciting as your imagination!

Hello There! You can call me many different things! Gallant, Commander Hellreaper, Morgan LePenguin, Jayden, and more! I have been GMing for the past 5 years running multiple Campaigns! Namely, I am running a Star Wars Alternate Universe using the Star Wars RPG by Fantasy Flight Games/Edge Studios. I own all three Core Rulebooks and all of the Sourcebooks. I run my games on Foundry VTT, using a Discord Server to talk with players. I have Wednesday through Sunday available for running games. When I run my games, I run them with the themes of the universe in question. Trying to create an experience being both unique while still being true to the feeling of the system/universe. I enjoy allowing my players to shape the Campaigns with their decisions. Allowing the players free will (but certainly not free from consequences!). Being open to discussion to find compromise whenever issues arrive. I like to give my games a feeling of being lived in. Using Worldbuilding to make the world feel real. Giving each NPC their own personalities. I like to use skills I've learned in writing fiction to help players feel connected to the game world. I hope you consider me for your games! And I am excited to share the experience of these games with you!
