About Cabal

Hey, I'm a GM with several years of experience in many different systems such as D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer 40k/Fantasy TTRPGs and Traveller. I do worldbuilding for fun and as a space to play various game systems. I just really like creating worlds to play in or have others play in with it's own lore. Most, if not all, of the D&D campaigns I run take place in the World of Aeverna which is a High Fantasy setting using D&D as it's base.

How Cabal runs games

Roleplay and story-focused primarily, I see myself as the facilitator of a story that players engage with. You can expect some light structure but I also value player autonomy within reason. I get very interested in the characters my players come up with and incorporate backstory into campaigns. I like watching characters change and grow as they interact with each other and the world around them. I don't pull punches very often so you can expect combat to be dangerous but appropriate to the circumstances based on party actions as well as careful planning by players.

I run a relaxed style of game, I don't expect anyone to know everything about the games I run. I expect my players to be courteous to each other. I'm welcoming to everyone who wants to play and expect the same from my players.
