About Dimitri
I've been a GM for many different types of games over the past 12 years. My bread and butter is D&D 5e but I've also run Daggerheart, Avatar Legends, Stars Without Number, Shadowrun, Deadlands, Wildsea, and others. I'm super easy going, love crafting collaborative stories with awesome character arcs but also love to just goof off and have a good time. I pride myself on being flexible. Whether you like tactical combat, roleplay, or exploring an indepth world, I will match your energy with a vengeance. You also might call me a slightly "evil" GM, because I make my players very powerful... so that I don't feel bad for not pulling any punches! Mwuahahaha!

I became a GM because
I wanted to make the other players at the table feel cool and awesome! I also love a good villain story!
My favorite system of all Time is
NGL it might sound dumb because it just came out (as of writing this) and it might be Daggerheart.
How Dimitri runs games
I like to consider myself a Bard of GMing because I'm a bit of a jack of all trades. Roleplaying and character work are some of my favorite aspects of TTRPGs but I absolutely adore tactical combat as well. I can use theater of the mind and minis with equal enthusiasm. Nothing feels more satisfying than a well placed, tactical Fireball, except for maybe gambling everything on a single role to break the rules in honor of the Rule of Cool. My goal in every game is to give my players that adrenaline rush. When the chips are down and everything comes to a roll of the die, you know you're doing a good job when everyone around the table feels like their lives depend on a click clack number rock.

I once ran a session...
For nearly 8 hours I'd say. We went well into the night, a lot of it was us just trying to learn the rules (we were playing Shadowrun) but damn nothing beats the high you feel when you decide to roleplay instead of sleep.
Dimitri's ideal table
My ideal table is set with fun-loving, high-energy players that want to explore different realities. I love worldbuilding and I love when players get involved in that aspect of the game. Tell me about your character's hometown, what's the culture like, tell me all about your god's personality and rituals. Collaboration is the name of the game; D&D, Daggerheart, Root, and all the rest are just different ways of saying it.

I think min/maxing...
Is perfectly acceptable. People min/max in real life all the time, it's the cornerstone of being a good athlete. If you know how the game works then you should be able to use the rules how you like. That being said I like to ground a lot of rules too. For instance, I find weapon juggling kinda dumb!
