How to prepare

At the very minimum, you will need: - Basic knowledge on how to play DnD 5e; - Dice, or access to a dice roller app; - Discord account, a mic, ability to see streamed content on Discord (joining on your phone is not recommended as the screen will likely be too small to view the tabletop).

What I provide

Combat and Story are theatre of the mind. I do attempt to do NPC voices, but how long I can maintain the voice depends on how strenuous it is on my vocal cords and the length of time needed to keep voicing the NPC. This one-shot's combat should mostly be quick and easy, with a couple of optional, more intense boss fights. Character sheets will be provided.

Gameplay details

Possible triggers: As a one-shot based on Futurama, you can expect a lot of humor that is in the same vein as Matt Groening's work. This includes dark humor related to death/injury/mental illness, off-color humor, and satirical takes on law/religion, among other things. If table top games had a rating like movies, this one-shot would be rated PG-13.

How will character creation work

Characters will be pre-made by the DM. These characters are made in an off-brand likeness of 10 Futurama characters: Fry, Bender, Leela, Zoidberg, The Professor, Amy, Hermes, Zapp Brannigan, Kif, and Scruffy. All, except one character, are level 5. Those who join the one-shot first get priority on picking characters. Character sheets will be sent via Discord message. All spell-casting characters only use spells from the DnD 5e Player's Handbook, so you will need access to it. All other abilities are listed on the character's sheet.
