D&D: Ravenloft - Death by Lanternlight

About the adventure

Hi! I'm Rafael Dorado from Rol Dorado and this is my first game at StartPlaying. Feel free to join me in this adventure where mistery and horror combined will put your characters in a great danger. As I'm not english native speaker, my english can flaw sometimes, please be patient! Let's have fun and enjoy time being together :) This is a game created by Lunch Break Heroes and prepared for a small group of adventurers at level 1. Setting is Ravenloft, a gothic horror theme where evil and corruption is always on everyone trying to defy their morals.

How to prepare

- Please have a good mic with clear sound - Discord user as we're going to use it to talk - Webcam is a nice to have as it'll improve the experience - If you're beginner with Dungeons & Dragons let me know first in order to give you a smoother intro and understanding on how to play.

What I provide

- All potential of FoundryVTT: Images, videos, audio, chat, etc. - I'll also show you my own ttrpg project: Rol Dorado. In case you're interested please let me know.

Gameplay details

- Session 0 will be handled in around the first 30 minutes where I'll show you what's the adventure about, you'll be able to choose a pre-generated character and we will briefly discuss how we would like to play. - Over any safety tool my main rule is that everyone should try to have fun in a mature and communicative way. - I'm open to use Stars and Wishes as a way to make us all improve but it's totally optional.

How will character creation work

I'll provide a set of pre-generated characters with some interesting backgrounds related between them so for beginners is going to be easier to get better immersion and communication within the group.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
