About the adventure
While exploring the Cairn Hills, a band of ragtag adventurers stumbles upon a tomb containing a dark secret. With this grim power unleashed onto the realm, it is up to these unlikely heroes to stop the forces of evil and let the dead lie dead. When a wealthy noble begins buying bodies and the citizens of Greyhawk are found dead in the streets, who can be trusted with the truth? In Gold & Bones, take on the role of a daring adventurer. Delve into dungeons, plunder forgotten riches, destroy undead, unravel the mystery, and save the realm from destruction in this campaign for 1st-7th level characters. What to Expect - Immersive Narrative: High - Dungeon Crawling: High - Exploration, Travel: Moderate - Puzzles, Intrigue: Low - Optimization: Low - Hack-n’-Slash: None - Character Death: Infrequent but possible This story is not one for high optimization, power gaming, or metagaming. At this table, we embrace failure and take risks. Interesting stories are ones where the characters can fail, learn, and grow. All levels of experience welcome! I believe this campaign can make for a great introductory game for new players, and it's sure to excite and surprise even the most experienced.

About me
I like to weave a dramatic narrative through a balance of roleplay and tactical combat, setting the stage for heroes to be brave in the face of overwhelming odds. I aim to create an experience where players are thrilled by epic challenges, have lots of laughs, and feel the emotional weight of a shared story in a highly immersive experience. I strive to create a welcoming, respectful, and safe community for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent players. I am a transfemme person myself, and I have no tolerance for bigotry of any kind. This is a space to create, collaborate, and share in the fun of the hobby together. I am an avid user of safety tools to keep my games fun and light-hearted. Even when the fictional tensions are high, the game stays fun! I will handcraft an adventure for you based on your group's interests, featuring my own custom maps, characters, and storylines. Do you prefer a thrilling narrative where RP takes priority, do you enjoy a good dungeon crawl, or maybe a harmonious blend of the two? I will happily accommodate your group to offer the best play experience I can provide! Additionally, if you have an adventure module you would like me to run for you, I would be more than happy to provide such an experience as well! My price for a custom game is $30 per person. Sessions are typically 3-4 hours, but the session duration can be tailored to your preference. I will provide a captivating experience featuring custom maps, fun NPCs, and quality voice acting. I will incorporate your characters' goals, flaws, and backstories into the narrative. For me, the comfort, wants, and needs of my players always take priority.

Homebrew rules
Ticking Clock. You have 2 minutes to complete your turn plus 30 seconds if you control another creature or Action Surge. Unless you have a rules question or technical difficulties, your turn will be skipped. At the start of your turn, you can take a Reaction to delay your Initiative. Flanking. Flanking provides a +2 bonus to an attack roll. To flank an enemy, you and an ally must be adjacent to the enemy and on opposite sides of the enemy’s space. You and your ally must be able to attack without Disadvantage. If there’s a barrier between your enemy and either you or your ally, you don’t flank. If you are affected by a condition that prevents you from taking actions, you don’t flank. Tumble Through. Allies are Difficult Terrain. To move through a creature's space you normally couldn't (such as an enemy your size), roll an Acrobatics/Athletics check. On a failure, your Speed is 0 for the rest of the turn. Heroic Inspiration. Reroll with Advantage/Disadvantage if you did so initially. Once Inspiration is used, it can't affect the same roll again. You can use Inspiration to allow an ally to reroll (but not an enemy). If you roll a nat 1, you gain Inspiration.

Any bigotry or prejudice, such as racism, homophobia, transphobia, or misogyny, are unacceptable. Such behavior will lead to an immediate removal without refund and a ban from all future games hosted by this GM. All necessary links will be available here on Startplaying once you have joined. Safety tools will be reviewed during Session 0 and are available to be referenced at any time on the Discord server. The Consent Checklist will be made available after joining and is expected to be filled out before Session 0. During Session 0, we will discuss expectations, player wants and needs, and develop characters (including backstories, connections to the City of Greyhawk, and connections to other characters.) Come to Session 0 with 1-2 characters you're ready and excited to play, and be open to flexibility and collaboration.
