Empowered with elemental powers, the group has begun to spread throughout the city, getting involved in all sorts of criminal industries. It's a simple mission, you have more information here than you've had in most of these situations. Now all you have to do is kick some butt and be the heroes you are destined to be. Show the world what you are made of! Dawn of Elemental Imperium is a Masks: The New Generation Campaign set in Halcyon City, a modern metropolis. You and your fellow players will play a group of teen heroes who have been given an easy task, but as always things go awry. You'll create the chaos that becomes your mission and you'll develop the looming disaster on the horizon. Prove your mettle or watch your city fall. Will you be strong enough to face the Elemental Imperium?

How to prepare

You'll need a webcam and microphone for this game. A laptop webcam and wired headphone mic work perfectly fine! Don't worry about super fancy equipment or anything. You'll need to join the Discord Server and the Roll20. In addition, make sure that you are comfortable with using Zoom for the purposes of gameplay. I find that seeing each other's faces and reactions makes it way easier to interact over online games!

Gameplay details

A typical session of this game will involve lots of roleplaying and in-character discussion and exploration. Solving a disaster before it happens is not easy and you can't just punch every problem, no matter how much simpler that might be. Combat will happen about once every other session or so, with how fast paced PbtA combat is, don't expect it to last more than half a session at a time! Combat is simple to track, so no need to worry about cumbersome character sheets or overwhelming stats and rolls.

How will character creation work

Playbooks make character creation simple, allowing you to create dynamic characters in a short period of time. You can do most of your character creation before Session 0, but the history portion of characters will not be completed until Session 0. Playbooks are first come first serve, so if there is a playbook you're REALLY looking forward to, make sure you claim it ASAP!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
