Riders of dragons

About the adventure

The Dragonriders have been lost to the world except for 13 followers and the king which makes 11 riders. The king made it his business to hunt down and destroy not only the riders but also wild dragons as well. He stole what dragon eggs were yet unhatched and slaughtered the rest. Back story on the king, which is common knowledge: King Jinx was one of the second generation of riders. He is the longest lived human in known history, descended from an ancient people called the Azlanti, even older than some elves. Once the face of his empire no one has actually seen him in about 100 years. He let's his followers govern and do what they want while he remain secluded in his castle. He is known to be the most powerful and beguiling spellcaster to have ever walked the world. Because all the remaining dragons in the land remain hidden it came as a shock that out of nowhere 6 heroes, while doing secluded activities, each had an egg appear in a flash of light and thunder before them. Each of the six had a choice. Pick up the egg and search out the mysterious rebel faction known only as the Warcrey or go into hiding knowing that it was only a matter of time before the kings followers hunted them down. Not being ones to run in fear our heroes chose to take up the challenge of reestablishing the free riders. But in order to do that they must seek out an elusive legend heard only as whispers among those brave enough to talk. The search for the stranger known as the Walker leads our band to the Wander Lass Inn in a small village in the mountains called Coulhaven. This is where our heroes will meet for the first time.
