About the adventure

About me
I have been DM'ing and running various TTRPGs for 25 years, including a long running campaign in my own home brew setting. I'm comfortable with D&D 3.5 and 5e, Pathfinder 1e, Dark Heresy, Mutants and Masterminds, Star wars (Revised Core and Saga), and a handful of others. I believe the most important part of being a DM is making sure everyone at the table is having a blast, and that we all get to shine. Always happy to homebrew / houserule things and work with players to get the experience they're looking for.

Creating your character
Character creation will be performed either during the session 0 or before, over discord voice comms and Foundry VTT. we will either be rolling 4d6 drop lowest six times then assigning those results to ability scores as desired. sets of 6 results can be mulliganed and re-rolled (up to 2 times) in case you get really bad results (no one wants to play a bad character after all.) OR we can do point buy of 20, it really depends on what the players wish to do. HP for first level is maximum. All core and most base classes in PF1e are acceptable for this adventure path. Non core / base classes will need approval, as power creep is real in PF1e All standard races are acceptable. non standard races are permitted (within reason). I am happy to work with you on options, however there are two classes that are fully banned as they simply do not function as intended in my opinion; Summoner and Kineticist.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Microphone and discord accounts will be required, as well as the ability to connect to the foundry server reliably. Please contact me ahead of session 0 to work on character creation. Foundry VTT does not require any software installation on the player side. Dice rolls are handled within the VTT.
What Beardy brings to the table
I'll be providing the Foundry VTT server, and additional personalized content added to the adventure path, including additional side-quests and NPCs along the way.

How Beardy creates a safe table
My table is always a judgement free game experience, harassment is never tolerated, we will be using X N O cards through discord if folks are not comfortable enough to speak them out loud. We will be using a session 0 to go over characters and introductions, as well as going over technical details within foundry VTT to make sure all players are familiarized with it, as well as to connect and use an accompanying discord server for voice chat during play. Recordings of the session will not be made. We will keep it between 3 - 5 hours in length, and will attempt to keep the game moving at a reasonable pace. Please be familiar with PF1e mechanics enough to function, but always feel free to ask for help if needed. Houserules and homebrew solutions are encouraged, as no system is perfect.
