Pathfinder 1e is just a classic that fixed most of the flaws of D&D 3.5 while still staying as close as legally possible. Paizo further smoothed it out as they created more content. With everything realeased for it together you can create just about any character you can imagine, although that may lead to some choice paralysis.

A solid goto for fantasy gaming. It's very well rounded for combat and social encounters and the various classes scale well in higher levels.
