About the adventure

In the shadow of an ailing king, a new ruler gathers power, sending shockwaves through a populace already plagued by unrest and pushing the largest city in Varisia to the brink of disaster. In the face of anarchy, a band of heroes gathers at the call of a mysterious patron. Strange magic and mysterious prophecies set them on the trail of a common foe—a path that draws them into a struggle to save the city from ruin. Additional Details

How to prepare

The bare minimum to prepare for the session is a working mic, a discord account for voice chat, a web browser and a decent internet connection. If you feel comfortable using a webcam, you are free to do so. Also, since the campaign is open to all, I will initially help you with any rule needed. But after a while you will need to know - at least - the rules concerning your character

What I provide

I will provide Foundry Virtual Tabletop run on ngrok, so no need for you to create any sort of account. Also, I'll try to be as free as possible for any private off-game explanation if required.

Gameplay details

This is a campaign that, in certain points, deals with dark topics. As the GM, I'll try to make the players as comfortable as possible, talking with the players before and after the session if needed. Session 0 will be useful in that regard too as we'll be talking about what players can expect and - on top of the more mechanical topics like the party composition - how should certain themes be dealt with

Session 0

How will character creation work

The characters will start at level 1 and will be created in the game using the character sheets provided by Foundry Virtual Tabletop. While most of the character creation should happen during session 0, players can request to add details or modify the character sheets privately and asynchronously before the campaign starts by messaging me directly so that we can come to an agreement on the date and time.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
