About the adventure

"Join Marco Proudfoot, host of the successful YouTube channel The Spektral Krew, as he and his fellow paranormal investigators journey to an island off the coast of Sicily to explore its very dark past. The only public information is a pixelated satellite map and a pile of redacted documents, but a little digging on the Dark Web has revealed something far more sinister. What better way to make their final push for one million subscribers than to stream their investigation live from the island! The Krew hopes to find evidence of the paranormal, but what they discover is so much more horrific than just orbs of dust and incoherent voices in the static." Viral is a modern day Call of Cthulhu Scenario, published on the Miskatonic Repository. The entire scenario should run for 3 or 4 sessions. No previous experience with the game system is required

How to prepare

Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). Set up free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser. Install Discord app on computer. Join Leovor's Keep server (link on your dashboard here after you join the game).

What I provide

I will bring my 20+ years of experience running Call of Cthulhu games for different kinds of people, old or young, new or experienced; friends, strangers and strangers who then became friends by playing together. The dice are rolled on Roll20 VTT, characters sheets, portraits, handouts with clues found during play and lots of illustrations. Background music played through the Roll20 web VTT.

Gameplay details

Viral is designed to be a very intense experience not for the faint of heart. There is very little combat but lots of exploration and the deeper you go more terrifying it gets!

Pregenerated Characters will be available for selection, each one a member of The Spektral Krew. This selection will be made on the Session Zero.
