About the adventure

The threat of Elemental Evil surfaces in different worlds of the multiverse whenever the force known as the Elder Elemental Eye tests its strength. In its current incarnation, Elemental Evil arises in the Sumber Hills. The scattered towns and isolated homesteads of this frontier now face a dire threat. If the forces of Elemental Evil can’t be defeated before they grow, madness and destruction could spread unchecked through the North.

How to prepare

All players should have a microphone. I strongly encourage the use of a webcam, because body language is so important when it comes to roleplay, but I am not ready to *require* them just yet. Everyone should create (if you do not already have) a Discord account, DND Beyond account, and Roll20 account before our first session. Because I have all of the sourcebooks and will be able to grant them to you during our sessions, you will not need to bring anything other than you and your imagination!

What I provide

I will have battle maps, dungeon maps, player tokens, rulebooks, music, a roll20 campaign, discord server, and everything else set up for the group. I will have digital handouts ready to provide to the players during the sessions so that they can reference them between games.

Gameplay details

This campaign will be consist of a mix between roleplaying, dungeon crawling, combat, and few puzzles. I am a DM that takes a "rules are just guidelines" approach, rewarding good ideas and good roleplay with excellent opportunities for your creativity to shine! D&D is collaborative story telling, isn't it? Session 0 will include (for those that need it) a walkthrough on Roll20 setup, DND Beyond setup, Google Chrome DND Beyond Extension Setup, and Discord setup. I have all of the necessary source book; therefore, players should not need to purchase anything other than the session itself. During session 0, we will have a conversation amongst all players about hard boundaries and soft boundaries about a variety of topics. This will be a chance for us to all be on the same page regarding gameplay and content expectations.

How will character creation work

We will create characters through DND Beyond. There are google chrome extensions that connect DND Beyond to Roll20, allowing you to directly roll from your DND Beyond character sheet. We will create these characters during our first game!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
