About the adventure
Pass through the silvery mist and into the Feywild, a place of wonder and whimsy ruled by unfettered emotion. With strange customs, fantastical creatures, uncanny bends in time and space, and colourful characters as capricious as they are charming. 🧚 Step Through the Veil 🧚 Enjoy the many fantastical attractions of the Witchlight Carnival, a fairground of kaleidoscopic tents and wagons crewed by marvellous beings that uses magic to travel from world to world. Pass through the mists into Prismeer the Domain of Delight and its realms Hither, Thither, and Yon where you will discover what wonders await! 🎪Feyfolk and Fairytales 🎪 Play as characters touched by the Feywild with new backgrounds and species! Perhaps you disappeared as a child and grew up in the Feywild, gaining some insight into the nature of the mercurial tricksters that dwell there or crept into the Witchlight Carnival as a youth, joining an eccentric collection of individuals who work behind the scenes. Maybe you are one of the Harengon rabbitfolk, whose powerful legs help them easily hop away from danger or even a Fairy, casting mischievous magic as you fly! ✨ Expect the Unexpected ✨ You will be tested in both brains and brawn should you encounter wily pixies, the noble Eladrin elves, happy-go-lucky mushrooms, wicked hag or even a few well-known characters from Dungeons & Dragons history along the way. Will you use your wits without resorting to violence or fight your way through even when the odds aren't always be in your favour?

How to prepare
To prepare for this game you will need to have a Discord account with microphone set up (video optional) as well as a Roll20 and D&D Beyond account. Basic knowledge of the D&D 5e system is advised though not mandatory.

Gameplay details
Consent Forms will be provided during Session 0 to help establish what each player is comfortable with happening in the game. Each session will have a planned 10 minute break during the mid point and players will be encouraged to provide feedback after the game. This can also be done privately if a player has an issue or sensitive topic they wish to discuss. RACISM, SEXISM, ABLEISM, TRANSPHOBIA, HOMOPHOBIA, OTHER DISCRIMINATIONS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED

How will character creation work
This adventure will begin with a one shot adventure where you play as a child version of your character visiting the Witchlight Carnival. Character creation will take place during session 0 over Discord. Ability Scores will be selected using Standard Array or Point Buy System. Character Sheets can either be hosted on D&D Beyond or Roll20 depending on player preference. All WoTC published supplements are allowed with 3rd Party or Homebrew content available upon review.
