About the adventure
Thirsty Sword Lesbians is a game about clashing blades and emotions, using high fantasy and flashy action to tell queer stories and celebrate queer identity and experience. It's a game of deep feelings, moving stories, hope, and what it means to be one's authentic self. Problems are solved with words and swords alike, often in tandem. ___ You're a fairy! That's a pretty broad category, ranging from insect-people to gnomes to goblins to who knows what else. Whatever you are, though, you're small enough to live comfortably in a doll house, drink dew form tiny flowers, cross blades with rats, and get eaten by cats. You've got magic, and a lovely community of fellow fairies living out in the woods. Eighteen years ago, you were all invited to the Christening of Princess Parnella. It was awkward, since that Christ fellow seems to have a bit of an issue with fairies, but it went okay. One of you even got declared the young princess's God Mother. For a while, you got to be the princesses cool old aunts (or cousins, if you're a bit younger). Things have soured a bit since then. You've had issues with the King and Queen, and the church, how they treat the common people. They, in turn, have taken issue with your 'lifestyle'. So, it's not really a surprise when you don't get invited to the Parnella's wedding. As though that would stop you. Thing is, you need to be at the wedding. You may not have been the biggest part of Parnella's life for the last few years, but you can still hear her when she makes a desperate wish to you... and she's wished that this marriage won't happen! So, grab your fanciest outfit, your sharpest sword, your friends, and go crash that wedding right over a cliff! Just, try not to get eaten by the cats on the way.
