Escape the Oubliette

About the adventure

After being beaten, stripped naked, and left for dead, you find yourself awakening in a cold, dark cave. Through the darkness you barely make out the bones of previous victims, and you can hear the sound of running water. Worse yet, you are not alone. There are others with you in the darkness. Are they victims like you, or something more? Escape the Oubliette is a 3rd level adventure for 3-5 players and is about earning the trust of complete strangers and working together to escape alive before time runs out. I use tabletop simulator for the games visuals, which I stream to zoom for players to make choices for their characters. You do not need tabletop simulator to play. I also use DnD Beyond, so account is helpful, but not entirely necessary as long as you have a way to print character sheets. I have premade characters, if you want to get out of your comfort zone and try something new, though you can bring your own characters, at 3rd level or below. 2-4 hour runtime.

How to prepare

Microphone and headset is most likely required to avoid room noise. Webcams optional. Characters made before hand or use of pre-generated characters available. DnD beyond account or character sheets and dice needed. Access to the Zoom app or web browser needed.

Most sessions are filled with adventure and humor. Adult humor and situations may occur. Recommended 18+. Respectful of gender pronouns and LGBTQ friendly environment. Let's just play games.

How will character creation work

Pre-generated characters available for those looking to just get started and/or a change of pace. If you plan on creating a new character at third level, please do so before the event. Message me if interested in a possible pre-event meeting for character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
