DnD World Of Warcraft Book Gets Last-Minute Delays In NA

North American DnD players might not be able to get their copies of DnD’s World of Warcraft items during Early Access. WotC revealed on D&D Beyond that delays are expected for several products ahead of the November 3 Early Access launch. This includes the book itself along with alt art covers, Horde & Alliance miniatures, DM screen, and map pack. The items should still arrive in time for the wider release on November 17. WotC said that most retailers will still get product on time or only a few days after the 3rd.
Wizards Of The Coast Names Dan Ayoub As New Boss
Hasbro announced this week that Dan Ayoub is now in charge of Wizards of the Coast, reports EN World, stepping up from his former role leading the Dungeons & Dragons department. Ayoub was the face of DnD’s recent “apology tour” and oversaw many big initiatives like DnD Universes Beyond crossovers and renewed partnerships with mainstay creators like Hickman and Weis. Ayoub also took point in several recent interviews in which he admitted to the brand’s missteps and hopes for a new direction that incorporates fan feedback.
Paizo To Bring Re-Animator To 13 Omens

DnD isn’t the only one bringing out the crossovers - Paizo got the licensing rights to ‘80s horror classic Re-Animator for its upcoming 13 Omens RPG. Re-Animator is but one of several movies to be brought to 13 Omens, reports EN World, and the Kickstarter to fund the game isn’t even finished. More movie tie-ins will be announced throughout the campaign and included as add-ons and bundles for backers. The storyline for the crossover casts the players as medical students who happen upon the ability to reanimate the dead.
WotC Once Again Hires "Union Avoidance Firm" For Pending Worker Vote
On November 10, WotC employees for both Magic: The Gathering and DnD will vote on whether to unionize. Ahead of this vote, reports Wargamer, the company has retained the services of Fisher Phillips. This law firm has been called a “union avoidance firm” by other WotC employees who achieved a union earlier this year. During that process, they received letters and emails attempting to convince them of the downsides of labor unions.
We’ll see how this union business goes in a few weeks! Until then, thanks for reading and may your dice be kind.
Sergio Solórzano is the best Dungeon Master in the USA (according to an official D&D competition, anyway). He loves minis and terrain but also goes all-in on improv!
