About the adventure

Under raging storm clouds, the followers of the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands before his hollowed grave within the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind’s howling increases as the cries of his followers could be heard all the way to the village of Barovia. Far below his Castle, the party of Adventurers walked away with whatever magical treasure from his Castle. It was a hard fought battle, and the treasures used to raise their own Kingdoms within the lands, while vanquishing foul monsters along the way, no monster was saved and many perished for decades, many hiding from these so called "Adventurers" and the Guild that birth them. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, and Strahd was gone, whispering one magical spell that rips a hole within his tomb. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is is finally gone and you are "invited" as the spell rips your soul to his world. The campaign begins a hundred years after Strahd have died, killed by the adventurers summoned to his world and in his final moments asked Madam Eva to bring fourth those from another world to one day avenge him and take over his dreaded castle and spread fear to the lands as an Overlord, and be the new Lord of the Underworld. Players are characters transported to this new dnd world as part of ISEKAI - Isekai is a subgenre of fantasy in which a character is suddenly transported from their world into a new or unfamiliar one. The western world is no stranger to this concept as it appears in well-known works of western literature such as Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, and you are an "Evil Monster" but personally you are good hearted, but to those outside seeing them, they are always considered evil monsters, as undead, drow, duegar, kobold, hobgoblin, orc, tiefling etc. To the people of the world, the humans, elves, dwarfs, gnomes, halflings, halfelf are the "Good" races. But like many anime trope, they can be more evil than the monsters they hunt. Taking ideas from Slime, Overlord, Skeleton warrior in another world, Unwanted Undead, Shield Hero where people actually hated him and many more. 📜 This Campaign uses the Dark Souls and other 5e Books 📜 Players begin as "Evil" Monster Races such as, Skeleton, Vampire, Slime, Drow and many more. 📜 As an Isekai Character, your character is from the Modern World transported to the World of RavenLoft 📜 As an Isekai Character, Characters at First Level start with One Feat and One Cantrip taken from any 5e Book 📜 Heavy RolePlaying in a Completely Homebrewed Adventure in the World of Ravenloft 📜 Homebrew Allowed and need to be discussed before Campaign begins 📜 This is Classic Dungeon Crawl, as Characters begin their adventure at the lowest depth of the Dungeon and work their way up, setting traps against Adventurers and fighting other monsters within, as well as unlocking puzzles.

Additional Details

How to prepare

The only things a player needs for this game is a microphone. A webcam is optional. Getting familiar with Discord for audio and Roll20 for maps is beneficial but not necessary. However roll20 to be tested is highly recommended for dice rolling, improved maps and the visual showcase. If a player has access to the Pathfinder 2e rules to go over it will help them quickly pick up the game.

Gameplay details

The setting where sometimes contemporary situations are encountered in an imaginary setting. Most topics will be kept to PG levels with combat descriptions mainly only getting to R levels. Do bring this up with me as we can talk about it in Voice Chat, I am a pleasant guy.

How will character creation work

Characters start out at level 1. This is to be done in Roll20 by Rolling for Stats or by Point-Buy There are pre-made characters available for all players. If a player wishes to make their own character they can contact me before the game session to discuss character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
