Stop or encourage the mischief of the pixies and the sprites. Save children from being tricked into entering Fey portals and being lost from their families. Stop the Queen Below and her fowl machinations. Explore the city of Aeredale, and see how the Fey have influenced its people. Into the Fey is an adventure module written by DM's Lair, who has put a lot of work and effort into making it a fantastic storyline. This is an asynchronous play-by-post game, meaning you are able to play throughout the week without sitting down for a session. Avrae is our VTT of choice, and it may be complex, but I am here to coach you through.

How to prepare

This is an asynchronous play-by-post game played by Discord with the Avrae bot. This means that posts will be made throughout the week; it's to the pace of the group. All playing will be done by text, making things accessible for those who aren't able to use voice. I will update at least daily. You will get to experience the story and the roleplay, while also learning about--or getting more experience with--play-by-post format and Avrae. 🍓 Have a Discord account, and something to use that Discord account from. Don't have a PC? Phone or tablet works just fine. We will not be using voice. 🍒 Have a D&D Beyond account, so that I can give you access to my resources there. Once you sign up, message me. I will link you to my Discord (you can also find it below). From there, I can get you prepared. Into the Fey is a wonderful adventure module, written by the DM's Lair. I will be bringing this incredible story to your game table. 🍓 All of my Wizards of the Coast sourcebooks 🍒 Various homebrew books (such as Campfire, Strongholds & Followers, Stibbles' Codex of Companions, etc) 🍓 D&D Beyond compendium sharing for the duration of the game 🍒 My enthusiasm and love of DMing, and my desire for your characters to win (but not without a challenge!) 🍓 My collection of Avrae aliases and tools 🍒 My knowledge of Avrae, which I'm willing to teach 🍓 Battlemaps (using the Avrae map alias) 🍒 Pregenerated characters if you need them 🍓 A character tailor-made to suit your needs if you want

Gameplay details

My table is always a welcome and accepting place for people of all types. I will do my best to accommodate. That is why I have all safety tools available. In Session 0, we will figure out which ones to use to be accommodate the players. This play-by-post game does not involve voice chat or video chat at all, and is done all with text and images. Session 0 will involve talking via the out-of-character chat, and in private with the DM. A Monte-Cook consent form will be sent. During the game, safety cards can anonymously be used at any time.

How will character creation work

🍓 Characters will start at Level 1. 🍒 Everyone will roll for stats in the Characters channel. Players will then have a choice of the stats rolled. This is to give players a wide variety of options. You will also have the option of choosing point-buy or standard array. 🍓 Players will ALSO roll for starting gold, as well as getting gear from their class/background. 🍒 You will not roll for health, instead choosing Average. 🍓 Sourcebooks Allowed: Basic Rules, Dungeon Master's Guide, Player's Handbook, Eberron: Rising from the Last War, Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica, Locathah Rising, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Mythic Odysseys of Theros, Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos, Sword Coast's Adventure Guide, The Tortle Package, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, Unearthed Arcana (except for the Mystic class) 🍒 I also love homebrew, and within long-term campaigns, I want to give you the option to use custom content. Homebrew races and subclasses will be allowed, within reason. Provide me with the material or your idea for what you want, and I'll sit down and help you get it into D&D Beyond and Avrae. This is with the disclaimer that if it ends up too powerful, we will adjust it. 🍓 Don't want to make a character? Players can expect
