About the adventure
A dilapidated Victorian mansion sits alone in the forest. Why would someone build this here? There doesn't seem to be anything else for miles. It seems to beckon you to come inside. Your nature compels you to go in. However, the question remains, will you come out? This is the opening "one-shot" adventure for the campaign Curse of Strahd. During the adventure you will be swept away to the land of Barovia where you will encounter, what seems to be, an abandoned house. However, you will soon find that the house has a mysterious past that you will need to unravel if you want to come out alive. This adventure is for DnD 5e. Characters will be level 2 for this adventure. We will play on Fantasy Grounds VTT and use Discord for chat. The game usually lasts around 4 or 5 hours, but could be longer or shorter depending on the speed of the party.

How to prepare
You will need a PC or Laptop and a Microphone. You will also need a free demo copy of Fantasy Grounds UNITY (Not classic). You will also need an account on Discord. I will send you the links for the game and also an invitation to my Discord Channel.
What I provide
I have an Ultimate license for Fantasy Grounds Unity, and can host everyone for free. I will send you the connection information before the game. I also have all of the rulebooks and adventure material needed and loaded on the Virtual Table Top. I also have a Discord server that I will send you an invitation too, so that we can chat.
Gameplay details
I normally use the rules as written. If there are any changes or homebrew rules they will be minor and we will discuss them before the game or as they come up.

How will character creation work
You are free to login to the table before the game and make a character, but I will have some pre-generated ones as well. If you need any help, please let me know. I'm happy to help anyway I can.
