I recently had the chance to play in a Daggerheart horror one-shot run by Jeffery The Tenacious DM and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The atmosphere was tense and immersive from start to finish, and our DM guided us through the story with a perfect balance of dread, mystery, and excitement. The DM did an incredible job encouraging each player to shine, giving everyone moments that felt personal and impactful. The world felt alive (or hauntingly un-alive, in the best way), and the descriptions were vivid enough to make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Overall, it was one of the most memorable tabletop sessions I’ve played in creative, eerie, and wonderfully run. If you ever have the chance to play in one of their games, do it. Highly recommended!
