The stories are all over the place in this week's edition of tabletop RPG news. Werewolf: The Apocalypse announced a new sourcebook, DnD Beyond might have revived a la carte purchases, WizKids revealed an event exclusive collab miniature, and a popular YouTube show got a release date for a tie-in graphic novel.
Werewolf The Apocalypse 5E To Get Moonlit Path Expansion

A new sourcebook is coming to Werewolf: The Apocalypse this October: The Moonlit Path. As reported by ICv2, the book will have both player and Storyteller options. Players will get 16 new Gifts, 5 Rites, 8 Talismans, and 3 Loresheets. Meanwhile, Storytellers will gain 21 new threats and 8 new locations for their arsenal. The common theme is spirits and how the Garou can interact with the spirit world. A new story about a migrant detention camp called “The Spider and the Fly” will also be included.
D&D Beyond Adds Gunslinger Class As Individual Purchase

The DnD Gunslinger Class from Mage Hand Press is now available on D&D Beyond. While that’s noteworthy in and of itself, the real news is that the class (along with 6 subclasses, 3 feats, 9 spells, and new firearm options) is being sold on its own. The content was originally published in Valda’s Spire of Secrets along with other player options.
The D&D Beyond Marketplace, however, sells Gunslinger for $14.99. Other Valda’s player options, such as new species and subclasses for the traditional classes, are being sold separately as Valda's Spire of Secrets: Player Pack for $14.99. It’s an interesting move as D&D Beyond stopped selling content piecemeal last year, and now seems to be experimenting with the idea again.
WizKids Potato Head Beholder Event Exclusive Debuts At Origins Game Fair

The mashup between Mr. Potato Head and DnD’s Beholder can be in your hands as soon as this weekend, provided you’ll be at Origins Game Fair. The Ohio-based convention takes place from June 18-22 and will feature a WizKids booth in the vendor hall. There, a limited supply of the Potato Head Beholder will be available for purchase. This Event Exclusive version comes with a unique wizard hat accessory. A small amount of these will also be sold online through the WizKids store starting June 19. The standard Potato Head Beholder is already available for pre-order through WizKids or your local game store.
Dingo Doodles YouTube Channel To Publish Graphic Novel Of Their DnD Podcast

The DnD show Fool’s Gold will soon have a graphic novel based on their adventures. It’s called Fool’s Gold: Death by Karaoke and is set to release on July 22 for $24.99. The premise sees a drunken karaoke party trigger the apocalypse, reports ICv2. Dingo Doodles herself is credited as an artist on the project, which makes sense as the YouTube channel prominently features her art and animation. The upcoming graphic novel is labeled as Volume 1, meaning more is very likely on the way.
That brings us to the end of this week’s news roundup! As always, thanks for reading and may your dice be kind.
