About the adventure
(The first player picks the time and day we play) They laughed when you "wasted your time" investigating a bizarre criminal case or chasing UFO reports, but after a few good calls, you have no seen the truth and there is no going back! Your individual paths lead you to each other and you for a team of detectives, conspiracy theorists, disgraced scientists, who've glimpsed the truth. With your combined efforts your research quickly escalates into tactical missions against alien infiltrators, unraveling alien sympathizer cults and fighting psionic horrors. Build your agency from a ragtag crew with gunpowder weapons in a beat-up car, to a global force with lasers, jetpacks and reverse-engineered alien tech. Example characters: - The unfortunate witness: A park ranger who followed what he thought was a poacher, only to see a creature he can't explain. - The Disgraced Scientist: You lost your career because of chasing the truth mainstream science refuses to acknowledge. - The Prodigy Hacker: What started as a joke, hacking into a crazy alien-worshiping church, led to proof of a global conspiracy. The only way out? Dig deeper. - The Military Operative: A soldier from a classified unit who saw something unearthly during a mission… and now wants answers. - The Psionicist/Oracle/Mage: For years you studied myths, arcane books, rumors of powers. It was all fiction, folklore... until a traumatic event opened your mind. What you can expect: - Modern Earth but with guns, magic and alien technology - Tactical combat and covert action - Researching and weaponizing alien tech - Fighting human cults and extraterrestrial threats - Establish a global organization ready to stop the invasion before it begins. We will use Pathfinder2e because it already has rules for gunpowder weapons and magic. Expect heavy Homebrew! :) Session 0 & 1 are free.

How to prepare
You will need: - a computer with a modern browser. - a Forge-VTT free player's account here: https://forge-vtt.com/account/signup. - a Discord account and a good microphone. Cameras are optional.
What I provide
I have Foundry VTT and Discord. I will create high quality tokens and maps. We use the Pathfinder2e system, because it has rules for Rifles and Lasers (in preparation for Starfinder) built in already. Almost everything will be homebrewed. I encourage players to suggest their own ideas
Gameplay details
There will be modern guns, psionic powers, mind control, alien magic and earth-based magic. You can expect being shot at often. Bullet-proof vests guarantee that guns will do just 1d4 to 1d12 damage, before bonuses. We will talk about expectations in Session Zero. This should be a clean heroic adventure without triggering content.

How will character creation work
We will have a Session Zero: The first 30 minutes should establish an understanding of this universe. After that we will create characters who will have a hook that exposes them to the truth.
