Tarrasque.io
Tarrasque.io is a browser-based virtual tabletop built to run Dungeons & Dragons 5e, named after one of the game's most ferocious monsters. Emphasizing touch-screen friendly controls and mobile-first design, Tarrasque runs on nearly any device. At its core, it's a VTT that allows game masters to create and present maps and encounters to their players, who can explore them in real time. Built-in character sheets let players organize their character information, and a combat tracker has the table covered if a fight breaks out. Tarrasque.io comes with most features players and GMs have come to expect: map tools, fog of war, freehand drawing, stat blocks and character sheets, and trackers for hit points, initiative, conditions, status effects, and more. Tarrasque.io is free to start, but has subscription-based pricing for running multiple campaigns and extra storage space. It's not officially licensed by Wizards of the Coast, but players can access all free content in the D&D 5e SRD, and use inbuilt tools to create custom and homebrew content. For players who want a tactile experience even in their online games, Tarrasque.io is a great option for remote play at your fingertips.

Tarrasque.io Introductory Video
Breeze through Tarrasque.io's features and functionality in just three minutes! First, in order for you and your players to see anything, you'll need a battle map. Give it a name and drag and drop a file to get started. Create some adventurers for your players to customize with the Adventurers tab. To make some monsters for them to fight, go to the monsters tab. You can import monsters from the free D&D SRD with the import function, and edit and customize them, including giving them token art. You can also create new homebrew monsters from scratch or based on imported monsters. The Spellbook tab lets you import spells from the SRD or create new ones just like Monsters does. Once imported, you can pop out windows to read details in any tab.
You can use the grid settings to adjust the grid to your map, changing the grid lines to your liking. Then drag and drop or use the "add to map" button to populate your map with adventurers and monsters! The pan tool moves the map, while the select tool moves tokens. The dice roller and combat tracker are the final two basic tools. The settings on the combat tracker let the game master display HP numbers/health bars and toggle auto-rolling initiative when adding combatants to the tracker. From the tracker, you can adjust initiative, peek at stat blocks, and inflict or heal damage to hit points.
