About the adventure

You begin your journey when you arrive by ship at a tiny cloister called Dragon’s Rest, a haven where world-weary people come to seek peace, reconciliation, and enlightenment. There, you learn about the dangers facing Stormwreck Isle, being drawn into the midst of an ancient war among dragons as you explore an island that has long been a battlefield in that conflict, searching for you own path and destiny. Let's become heroes! This is a short campaign that will take characters from level 1 to 4. If the players want, it can be continue into a larger campaign afterwards.

About me

I always liked reading fiction, writing and creating stories, what lead me to the GM role eventually. I like high fantasy and heroic adventures, where I believe Dungeons and Dragons shine. I tend to work on characters stories into the main plot, regardless if it's a published adventure or an original story. My games are for everyone, where the most important is to have fun and a good time. I love to teach new players and to learn with experienced ones and I believe a mix of both is very helpful. I'm a collaborative GM who likes to help players create their characters and make them shine, so we can tell a great story together. I'm a screenwriter and a board game lover. And aside from English, I'm also available to DM in Spanish and Portuguese.

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will start at level 1. During Session 0, I'll help everyone develop and create their characters based on the concepts they chose. Also, you can always chose a premade characters and go from there. You can bring as much as you want about your character to the group or privately for the DM if you want some secrets' shenanigans ='D All official content is allowed, and we'll specify it again during character creation. We'll use standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or roll (4d6 dropping the lowest) for the stats.

The current party

The party is currently lv3. We have a Barbarian, a Druid and a Ranger.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You'll need a working mic. A Discord and The Forge accounts (both free) are also required, but I can help you set them up. For the Session 0, at least a character concept if you don't want a premade character.a Eagerness to have fun!

What Bernardo "daewolz" brings to the table

I'll provide an open and safe space for everyone to play and have fun. I'll teach about D&D and FoundryVTT for everyone who needs it. I also bring some visual aid, custom maps and, let's hope, a great story and experience. I'm also available out of session time for any support about the game the players need.

Safety

How Bernardo "daewolz" creates a safe table

During Session 0, we'll talk about connections among player characters and discuss game expectations and how we can move forward the best way possible for everyone. That includes talking about safety tools and learning a little bit about D&D and FroundryVTT if you're not familiar with it. The level advancement will be by milestones, which means that characters will level up as the group accomplish goals and/or plot points during gameplay. Everyone will level up at the same time.
