About the adventure

You are three law officers on a colony somewhere in space. Your department is focused on crime related to androids. The people live separately from the androids and androids are built for their function, looking very different from humans most of the time, unless they are meant for entertainment. One of you is also an android, while the other two are humans, to allow for different perspectives. You can expect themes similar to Detroid: Become Human and Blade Runner of course, with a little Cyberpunk added. Each session will be one crime to solve, unless you do not solve it in one session, then we can extend it to the next one. All crimes will slowly build together into one common narrative and somewhere in 1/3rd of the campaign we will jump from one-off crimes to solving the main narrative. Due to the fact this system uses an odd kind of dice I may be rolling for you using physical dice and a camera looking at my rolls. I might use AI to generate tokens of characters.

About me

I enjoy hosting and narrating games. Love worldbuilding and allowing others to enter a world I made and forge their story in it... I invite both chaos and order in there, as long as everyone is having fun and getting something valuable from the whole experience. I believe in player agency and the idea that derailing stories is not an issue, but a challenge. The world should be open for players to explore and I like hosting systems that facilitate that.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters together, to make them fit together, learning the system in the process a bit. I will have ready characters in case you will wish to skip creating yours.

The current party

We have one android who is slowly getting more human, one middle aged officer and the party recently "adopted" a doll android lady...

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Create a discord account if you do not have one and join my discord server. Make sure to play using a computer, as we will be using a VTT (which won't need an account from you) and PDFs.

What Atlan brings to the table

I will provide physical dice used by the system, as it uses unorthodox ones, as well as images, maps and the story itself.

Safety

How Atlan creates a safe table

I will give you a space where you can list lines and veils you wish not to see in the game, or at least not play them yourself. We will also have additional in-game safety measures for moments when a player needs a break, or wants a scene to be skipped, called X and N cards. On top of that we will use breaks and debriefings.
