About me
I have approximately 20+ years experience participating in asynchronous, rules-light play-by-post games with friends. You can find a good sampling of the type of games and play styles I like by going here: https://storium.com/user/taskir I've been on SPG for two years, and in that time I've played in both one-shots and longer campaigns. I’ve completed two Call of Cthulhu campaigns and one Thirsty Sword Lesbians campaign. Currently playing: Vampire the Masquerade; Kids on Brooms; Monty Python Systems I've played multiple games/sessions in and feel I have a strong grasp on the rules: D&D 5e (2014), Fiasco, Kids on Brooms, Call of Cthulhu, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Alien TTRPG. Systems I've only played once or twice and still learning: Spirit of the Century, Magical Kitties Save the Day, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Ryuutama. The most important rule I always try to play by is that this is *OUR* story, not *my* story. I want to be collaborative and build a world together with others. I love learning character's backstories and having lots of downtime for conversations between PCs/NPCs. The other systems I have listed under my 'favorites' are ones I have an interest in playing/exploring. Others that aren't on the SPG list are: Our Haunt, Bro Is it Gay to Dock, Star-Crossed, Together We Write Private Cathedrals, and If I Were a Lich Man.

Mike is brilliantly creative and funny, and allows his players the space to bring their creativity to the table as well. He keeps the story moving along with cinematic descriptions, but still gives plenty of opportunities for RP, character moments, and flavor. His voices are distinctive and full of personality, even for a character with just a few lines. All in all a fantastic GM I'd happily hit up the mall with any day. :D
Shaun was a terrific GM - engaging, entertaining, patient, and funny. The game was an absolute blast and four hours went by in a blink. I would encourage anyone who has an interest in CoC to take advantage of his expertise and join a game he runs - you will have an incredible time. If he ever runs a longer and/or paid campaign, I fully expect it to fill up instantly so don't miss out!
Ghost is incredible at creating vibrant, immersive worlds to play in. He brings an incredible amount of lore into his games and works hard to interweave what he's already built with what the players/characters want to do. The amount of effort he puts in to each game is fully on display with music, artwork, and an environment populated with a multitude of characters/shops/factions to interact with. He is also extremely rewarding towards player creativity, with a full system of 'extra credit' (gold, etc) for side roleplay, character art, playlists, and other add-ons that encourage players to really dig into their characters.
