About the adventure

The peaceful mountain-town of Nordland faces a dangerous fate and you must rise to the occasion to save the town from total annihilation! An unknown townsperson insulted Thor within his own temple in the town and as revenge, the Priestess has received a vision from Thor, that because of this act of heresy, a terrifying lightning-breathing beast will be headed towards the town! You and your party members will be called upon to venture into the snowy mountains and slay the great and terrible beast before it can get to the town. In this action-packed oneshot focussed on exploration and an epic final encounter. In this world inspired by Norse Mythology there are many monsters and creatures inspired by ancient myths brought to life. This world features a focus on survival, exploration, and political intrigue.

How to prepare

Players are expected to have a functional microphone and are heavily encouraged to read over a document detailing some of the homebrew rules in this campaign and setting. No Software installations required.

What I provide

I will bring the paid version of Owlbear Rodeo, that allows players to get the most out of the software, without having to pay themselves, as well as maps for all battle maps, towns, cities and countries required within the game

Gameplay details

It is my goal to ensure all players feel safe and comfortable when playing in one of my games. Before the session, players can expect a brief reminder of the general content of the session, as outlined above in the content warnings. Additionally, should players be uncomfortable at any time, they may privately DM me with an "X" or "N" to ensure content that could cause discomfort is kept out of arms reach.

How will character creation work

Characters are level 3 and sheets are expected to be made before the session, however I will be free to assist in the creation of characters prior to the session in both Voice Chat and messages. Players are free to use Point buy or Standard Array (or rolling if done digitally and I can view the rolls) Players get a level 1 "Bonus Feat" All Core D&D content allowed, with some adjustments to certain races which we will go over during character creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
