About the adventure

~This is a trial game to test of my Gm style and story, It will be $5 for 4 sessions and if everyone wants to continue we will move up to my normal price of $25.~ Are you a Fan of Litrpg books? Ever wanted to play D&D like it was a video game? Then welcome to Infinity Online! In the not so distant future the earth is on a fast approaching death that humanity doesn't have the time to stop. Thus began the Infinity initiative. To take as many people and download their minds on a new Quantum computing server buried deep under the earths crust. Proposed and funded by the CEO of Volare Industries, creator of the hit vrmmorpg Infinity online, the new Mind Dive™ technology will be the last hope for any part of the human race to live on. Your body may be gone, but your mind will live forever in the fantasy world of infinity online! You play.... well you! A lucky winner of the Infinite lottery and grab your ticket to not only survival, but Immortality. Play D&D with new rules such as, Abilities like Analyze to let you scope out the NPC's and Players around the world, Respawning after a death (with penalties of course), a new inventory system with new and increasingly better ways to carry your loot around, and more. This game and its concept is perfect for those that want to play in a fantasy world but apply your common sense and current knowledge to the world around you. So come on, will you take the plunge into this new world? Or will you follow humanity into its final goodbye.

About me

Hi, my name is Ergo , I'm a 32-year-old Game master looking to make an actual career in this community. My Creative background began in childhood getting lost in book after book and wanting to have an impact on the world and help the protagonists in their journey. I started playing ttrpg's in 2015 and of course, became the forever GM because no one else wanted to do it. Thus began the creation of my own worlds and the characters that fill them. I love to make games that have heavy player involvement. Want a thieves guild in the city? Done. Wizards tower in the desert? Done. Space station taken over by androids? Already have a name for it. Narrative matters the most to me but boy do I love some crunchy combat.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will have an Onboarding Session 0 to go over everything you need to know about the game and what its like to play at my table. This will count as the first of the 4 Trial period sessions. If you join later we will have the Onboarding session 0 and will pay the full price of $25 but will have 4 sessions at the Trial cost of $5 (This is due to too many people spending 2 hours of my time for session 0 and then pulling no shows so I can at least get something for my time) We will use Tasha's rules for racial stat allocation if you don't choose one of the races changed new multiverse book. Stats will be the array or rolled, but if you roll you will have to abide by the roll unless it's a dumpster fire (Multiple negatives and a highest of 14) You can roll for HP or take the average but will have to abide by the roll.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need a Microphone, a Discord account, and a Roll20 account. It is Highly encouraged to read the base rules of the system to have a base understanding of the mechanics to make an informed decision on the type and build of character you wish to play.

What Ergo brings to the table

I bring most player content in the roll20 compendium, 9 years of experience GM'ing, and I bring a safe and inclusive space to play and have fun.

Homebrew rules

Many, which will be talked about in session 0.

How Ergo creates a safe table

This game deals with the concept of the human mind being taken out of the body and what that means for the soul, as well as human minds existing in a digital world with A.I's and the concept of if your both digital, which one is more real.
