About the adventure

The slaves of Gonderif outnumber their ghoulish masters ten-to-one. Any slave brave enough to try and lead a rebellion is sent to the Undying Tournament, where they are "mercifully" promised freedom from slavery if they are the last prisoner standing. Of course, no one trusts this promise, but the insidious seed of hope has been planted in their hearts—there is a chance at freedom. You awake on the cold hard floor. Copper taste on your tongue as your head rings. The ringing slowly subsides as a thunderous noise can be heard in the distance. You can make out cheering and the stomping of many feet. Nearby chains rattle as several other humanoids are clasped in irons near you. A masked figure with two ghoulish guards kicks you entirely away. His mask seems made of white ivory that shifts and moves of its own volition. "I am Warden Su'mar," Its voice rasps out like wind through dusty pipes. "You are my latest guests with this fine establishment. Your first match is soon; you will be given gear at the door to play with the others. Do be kind and put on a show for me...." The thing's voice rasps out towards the end in jarring beats as if the creature is trying to laugh, but its idea of a laugh is a punctured windbag slapping a cat.

How to prepare

just need discord and mic as this is how I communicate mostly. Please create characters ahead of time so there is a chance to go over it and it does not cut into playtime. Characters can be made via D&D beyond or the Charactermancer in Roll20. I also have a selection of pre-generated characters made if players wish to just jump right in or have a tough time making characters.

What I provide

I bring my compendium on Roll20 that can be used in-game. These include: Dungeon masters Guide Players Guide Volos Guide Modenkinin Tome Monster Manual Xanathars Guide A Heist on Roll 20 Tasha's Guide Van Rickten's Guide Fizban's Treasury The Phantom Woman Mines of Phandelver Tales of the Yawning Portal Ghosts of Saltmarsh Raven's Call Multiverse The Undying Tournament
