About the adventure
Grab your candy apples and mugs of cider, the Harvest Festival is in town! Come and delight before the long, winter months. Decorate a scarecrow, he wants to look absolutely horrendous. Visit the petting zoo, the goat there is a real philosopher. But no matter what you do, don't go into the pumpkin patch. Ignore the whispers and the muffled screams and the missing person's posters plastered all over town. Enjoy the festivities, stay long enough for the grand finale, and stay away from the pumpkin patch. Perhaps you'd like to see the corn maze instead? The Haunting Harvest is a level 5 one shot full of spookiness and mild horror, for the lovers of all things Halloween š Players of all levels of experience are more than welcome to join!

How to prepare
š Join our Discord server and say hi! š¦ Make a level 5 PC, either in Roll20 or DDB. š» Make a Roll20 account and join my game there. š² DICE GOBLINS, PLEASE NOTE: this game is math rocks friendly! You can use your own physical dice for this one shot. š¤ For the session proper, please make sure your mic is functioning properly, and there's no background noise. Muting when not speaking or utilizing push to talk is greatly appreciated.

Gameplay details
We will be using in-vtt x n and o cards system, which I will explain before the session. You can leave the game and take a break at any point you need, no questions asked. PLEASE NOTE: players using this one-shot in an attempt to purposefully trigger, upset, or ostracize other players will be promptly removed. The safety of my players comes first before anything else, and any kind of real life bigotry - homophobia, transphobia, racism, antisemitism, misogyny, as well as any other kind of prejudice and discrimination - will NOT be tolerated.

How will character creation work
Everybody will be asked to make a level 5 PC. All official DnD content is allowed, including but not limited to: Xanathar's Guide to Everything, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. (Guide to Tal'Dorei is also allowed) This includes optional rules from those books, especially the ones from Tasha's. Each PC will be allowed to have 2 common items, 1 uncommon item, and 1 free potion of healing. You can have your character sheet either in Roll20 - which we will use for the maps - or in DnDBeyond, if you prefer. Please note that I personally do not use DDB and will not have a campaign for you to join there; all my shareable compendium items are on Roll20, but you are welcome to se DDB if that is your preference.
