About the adventure
The Ebon Coast sits on the Western coast of the Kil’kirin Continent. It is a land of opportunity, adventure and continued interest of the divine. Many fine adventurers have spent time on the coast, and very few still live to this day. Though their stories are eternal. This stretch of coast finds itself in the uncomfortable position of strained political ceasefire. Both Barcot and Caldira have spent decades preparing for war against one another, and neither has moved on the other. They each seek to find an edge over the other. Meanwhile in the south the Tribes of the Skadii planes are once again locked in battle over their lands. The Broadfang encroaches ever westward, whilst the Elves and other folk of the Llanwrystw forests seek to defend their lands an maintain the balance of nature that thrives all around them. In the North, the frozen Jolfa Wastes plays home to tribes of Barbarians, Monsters, Giants and old evils that thrive in the corners of the world that were once too volatile for the other species to thrive. Around the coast are dotted smaller Islands, none more famous than Saireth where the Sea Elves call home. A proud nation of merchants, sailors and those who are so at one with the Sea they understand the way of the waves. The Ebon Coast is a land like no other, full of wonder, adventure and of course it’s own brand of darkness. So join ye adventurer who wishes to see the world. For in this book, I will tell you all about our home, and how to run your own adventure in the world of Hertrend. LGBTQIA+ Inclusive and Expressive! A safe and open table for all involved. Creating your character
Characters will begin at Level 3, they will have one uncommon magic item and a free feat. Players can create their characters before, bring an old character in and adapt to the world, or build alongside your fellows at the table. I will with your permission weave character backgrounds together or give them interlinking themes as we go along.
"The Knocking Mists" is a One Shot all about Pirates and Mischief, there will be roleplay and swashbuckling fights. I will be running this oneshot multiple times so please make sure you check to see if you've played it before.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players should download Discord (Free) and join the server before the game. They should read the primer supplied to help them understand the homebrew rules that we use. Players can provide as much story as they like, but I do advise them to provide a theme instead, so that we can work together to create something we are all passionate about. Players should have a mic. (Can use a Webcam if they wish!)

How Thea Rose creates a safe table
Players can expect a highly involved cinematic narrative game. Themes that usually occur in my games are: Action / Adventure Drama Romance Loss / Revenge Cinematic Battles Though I'm not a professional voice actor, I do try to differentiate my characters and do voices. All players will have individual whisper channels both for in game whispers and to talk about anything they need to to keep it within our Discord Server. X Cards are an anonymous button within our Foundry. Once raised, we will just continue on retconning anything that the X'er is willing to disclose if they wish; though I will try to take initiative. During our Session 0 I will gauge your lines and veils and create a dedicated file for the groups collective Lines and Veils. I will also supply a Google Form to help me gauge more about what you want to get out of the game and get a step up on your needs.
