About the adventure

Set in 1534 DR of the Forgotten Realms, this adventure pits you and your fellow companions in a relatively isolated land of Nimbral in Faerun. This calm, secure island nation known for its seclusion, self-sufficiency and strange sorcery, has suddenly gone silent. Scores of ships that have strayed too close to its borders have never returned. It is up to you to find out what has happened...and maybe find a way to leave… ✨ This campaign takes player characters from Level 1 to Level 15, though success, calamity and aspirations of adventurers may finish the game at a lower or higher level. ⛵ While you will start on the island continent Nimbral, your characters may hail from anywhere from Faerun, though strongly suggested to be from the Sword Coast for newer players to roleplaying and the setting. ⛰️ Explore a wide range of areas and creatures of the island, while you might not be able to leave Nimbral, you can uncover every crevice, ruin and settlement of the land. Players are welcome to seek out any clue or danger they come across, even if the adventurers are not prepared… 🌪️ Players will have to contend with dangers of the environment, both magical and mundane, though the difficulty of this can be decided at the free Session 0. ⏳ The campaign has varied length of between 40 to 70 sessions, due to a core theme of mystery.

How will character creation work

Character creation starts at Session '0', where I can help players make their characters if required. We start at Level One. If you are new to D&D don't worry about the below: Standard Array is used for determining character stats, however, Hit Points are always assumed to be roll at maximum value and an additional Feat (not Ability Score Improvement) can be selected for characters. Character Sheets will be stored virtually online in Roll 20.

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: Medium
  • Puzzles: Low
