Gardens of Stone - A DnD 5E Campaign

About the adventure

After ages of war and strife in the land of Kartane, peace had finally seemed to settle. Unfortunately, a new terror was about to rise. On the Summer solstice in the Year of the Treaty, a massive fissure opened up in the Gradisa Mountain and the Eye Tyrants poured forth. Unbeknownst to the good people above ground, a war has been waging in the subterranean caverns that stretched beneath Gradisa and all of Kartane. The rarely seen dwarves of the mountain had sealed themselves inside to defend the world from the threats of the deep and now have apparently fallen. The Eye Tyrants use dark and strange magics to destroy and devour any that do not fall under their tyrannical reign. Heroes now journey from far and wide to try to break the spread of the new darkness that seeps from the wound of Gradisa. Join us on a classic adventure across a Homebrew world. Much of the world's lore can be decided by the players and what they want to play. This will be a high magic fantasy adventure and will reward the creativity of it's players.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players should have working Internet Access, a Mic, Discord account, Roll20 account, and webcam is optional. They should read over the details of the game and discuss with their fellow players on the Discord what they are looking to play and get from the adventure as well as build their character's concept.

What I provide

I will be bringing maps, pdfs including monsters and books from older systems (Lords of Madness mainly) that I'll update for 5e, adventures, treasures, and experience!

Gameplay details

Players should let me know on the Startplaying or Discord chat of any limits they have, but for the most part this game will be PG-13. After any session players can talk together as a group or privately with me if they have any issues with the content or anything else.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will use DnD Beyond and/or Roll20 during the Session 0. I have access to the PDF's if the players don't, but DnD Beyond has most of the info anyways, though players will need to write in their own Races and Class abilities if they aren't immediately available on the site.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
