How will character creation work
◆ We'll make a 1st-level player character (PC) by either Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8) or 27 Point Buy using the 2024 Player's Handbook. ◆ Select your PC's starting equipment for your class (no rolling for starting gold). ◆ Level your using static class Hit Points (No rolling for Hit Points). ◆ Encumbrance rules are used. ◆ Feats and multiclassing are allowed. ◆ Only official curated Dungeons and Dragons 5e hardcover content is permitted. ◆ Your character's back story should fit handwritten on one side of a 3”x5” index card. Anything less, and your character feels like a video game character (which subconsciously promotes such play). Anything more, especially at 1st level, your character is too restrictive to grow organically through the adventure. Just keep in mind your character’s story HAS YET to unfold. It’s much easier for a player to backfill their story than be constrained by what you set down at character creation. Let’s explore it together in the adventure. ◆ I'm pretty fair in character creation, but I reserve the right to approve/decline player characters anytime.
