About the adventure

Enter Erethor, D&D 5e Homebrew where powerful celestial deities once walked the world, since departed after a cataclysmic event called The Shattering. Mechanical birds from the Dwarven capitol serve as messengers between cities; telepathic squid pilgrimage seek safe refuge; Elves convert music to energy; and tensions run high amid an uneasy truce between Empires. Cities in Erethor host unique settings - whether traversing the quest or playing as a sandbox, Erethor's rich geography promises much to explore!

How will character creation work

Players will receive a D&D Beyond link to create characters in the campaign! Campaigns with Session 0 include character creation. Check out the D&D Beyond character creator in advance: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/builder You can also choose a pre-made character, or make one on paper: https://dnd.wizards.com/charactersheets Characters start at Level 2 - Include your character's pronouns - Point buy, standard array, or roll 4d6 drop lowest for stats - Ask permission to use Unearthed Arcana, Ravnica, or other non-standard content - (optional) Send me a token image of your character to use on the battlemap. For in-person games an assortment of GM-provided minis are available to choose from, or you may bring your own. - (optional) Roll for a free trinket on the trinket table ( Pro-tips for new players: - Think of the type of character you want to play, and build your character around that! D&D can be overwhelming; centering around an idea (like the laziest wizard who ever lived, or a rock-music loving robot) can make character building easier. - Don't worry about an elaborate backstory. Your character will flesh out as you play. - Don't worry about being good at everything - rely on the party to cover each other. - Does your character have a secret the party doesn't know about you? - You can roll a free trinket on the Trinket Table in the Player's Handbook. How did you come across it?
