About the adventure

50th Anniversary Special Event: Descent into the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, brought to you by Wizards of the Coast! Deep in the Yatil Mountains lie the Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, formerly occupied by the legendary archmage Iggwilv the Witch Queen. Though Iggwilv is long gone, her lair is anything but empty. Iggwilv is rumored to have amassed a magical hoard of unsurpassed value, a trove of such fame that scores of adventurers have perished in search of it. Can you brave the threats within and find fortune before succumbing to danger? This is a non-competitive run of the adventure to be compliant with Adventurers League guidance. A 4-hour adventure playable by 5e D&D Adventurers League characters levels 5-10. New to Adventurers league? Check out this post to get started:

How to prepare

We will be using Roll20 for our virtual tabletop and Discord for audio. Mics are required, and webcams will not be used. If this is your first time using Roll20, I am happy to help new folks learn the platform.

What I provide

- Sessions are be hosted on Roll20 with Discord voice channels for audio. A working microphone is required. - I use ambient music on Roll20 and will guide players through adjusting audio levels on the VTT to their preferred volume. - This session is Adventurers League legal, which means I'll be sticking to rules as written. Homebrew content will not be permitted in this session.

Gameplay details

I like to cooperate with my players to create an enjoyable and unforgettable experience together. I don't subscribe to the school of DMing which is adversarial and I will rarely try to catch you by surprise unfairly. I want to facilitate a great experience for you and your character and I ask for cooperation from my players in this respect. Let's have some fun!

How will character creation work

You are expected to have a Tier 2 (levels 5-10) Adventurers League legal character ready at the start of the session. You may bring an existing AL character in this level range, or you may create a new 5th level character for play, following AL character creation rules. Characters can be created on Roll20, D&D Beyond + Beyond20, pen & paper, or whatever you're most comfortable with. Characters must be created using the D&D Adventurers League Player's Guide, found at the bottom of this page: If you're new to Adventurers League and have questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Players can expect
