About the adventure

Oil lamps are mounted on the oak-paneled walls, above the mantelshelf is a longsword. You feel a chill breeze, but there is no flicker in the flames. What was that sound? A growl? And what about those strange portraits on the wall? Prepare yourself for a thrilling adventure with plenty of investigation and numerous combat opportunities. Players will have the chance to level up their characters between 1 and 3 levels .

How to prepare

Players will require a decent and reliable mic and Discord account for voice. Please familiarize yourself with Foundry VTT by checking out their free demo.

What I provide

I will have maps and npc avatars ready in Foundry VTT as well as your in game character sheet and a token for you.

Gameplay details

We'll be using D&D's three pillars of play: exploration, roleplaying, and combat. The care and well-being of everyone at the table comes before the game or story. For safety, I use the "X" card as well as lines and veils. Lines and veils are used to set boundaries on content in a game. Lines are hard limits on content, things that the GM or the players don’t want to engage in. Setting up a line means that content won’t show up in the game at all. Veils are soft limits, things that are ok “behind a curtain” or when they “cut-to-black.” Setting up a veil means that the content might be in the game but not spotlighted or described in great detail. Lines and veils can be adjusted as needed throughout the game. There is always an Open Door. Players can leave or take a break from the game for their own safety and well-being at any time without being judged. I have a zero-tolerance policy on racism, homophobia, ableism, body shaming, transphobia, and misogyny, including microaggressions in or out of game. Not sure what those are? How will character creation work

If you want a custom character, you will need to create a one a minimum of two hours before gameplay and notify me . You will be able to use the character builder tool and sources from my dndbeyond account. The link will be sent upon approval to join the game. Otherwise you will have your choice from some basic pregenerated characters. Please create a level 1 Character. Standard Array for ability scores (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8). Point Buy is also acceptable. Characters must be from Forgotten Realms/Faerun. **Note: Chaotic Neutral characters may not be as suitable as other alignments in this environment, but are playable. No Evil, please. ** I can provide assistance in character creation as well. Message me for more information.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
