Bridges, blight, and bites

About the adventure

Mayor Brimscar has hired you to assist the towns surrounding the five bridge forest. Lumberjacks, hunters and regular folks have been going missing in the forest over the last week. There have also been reports of large sections of the forest that appear to be succumbing to a mysterious blight. Only one person has seen one of these areas and come back alive. When she made it to town, she raved of a shadowy form killing her whole group of woodsman. You have been tasked to investigate and destroy whatever wicked force is plaguing the region. The mayor hopes this can be handled before the harvest season officially ends in two days time. This task will require you to navigate the forest, locate these blighted areas and figure out the cause and stop it. A sum of one thousand gold piece has been promised to any who return with proof of this task being completed.
