DaveCon - April 25-27 Bloomington, MN

Billed as a celebration of “all the Daves that made RPG gaming great,” DaveCon has gaming, vendors, and a game auction.

iMagicon - April 25-27 Minot, ND

Taking place at the North Dakota State Fairground, iMagicon combines comics, cosplay, video games, and tabletop gaming.

RavenCon - April 25-27 Richmond, VA

This con was originally founded by fans of Edgar Allen Poe. RavenCon has since evolved into a bigger event with a 24-hour gaming room. 

Rising Phoenix Game Convention - April 25-27 Milford, VA

The Rising Phoenix Game Convention is touting a bigger gaming room and a new kind of game master compensation this year. 

WizardCon - April 25-27 Kalamazoo, MI

Unlike many Comic Cons and other events that get more crowded every year, WizardCon is known for keeping its attendance low. They prioritize you getting to see everything over selling more tickets. 

Concinnity - April 26 Milwaukee, WI

It only goes on for one day, but Concinnity does have plenty of tabletop gaming and miniature painting. 

Farmageddon - May 2-4 Farmer City, IL 

The Farmer City American Legion hosts Farmageddon with a full kitchen and bar, making it feel more like a local game store TTRPG event than a humongous convention. 

Pixies Street Con - May 3-4 York, SC 

Local store Pixies Street Toys & Games hosts Pixies Street Con in an effort to bring family friendly anime and tabletop gaming activity to Downtown York. 

PAX East - May 8-11 Boston, MA

This massive event draws some of the biggest names in video games and TTRPGs. PAX East also has tons of tables and vendors so you can stay on the cutting edge of the latest tabletop trends. 

Huzzah! - May 16-18 South Portland, ME

Huzzah! has its roots firmly planted in the historical wargaming community, but Game Masters can also apply to run RPGs that fit the theme. This year’s theme is crossing, such as battles that took place on bridges, missions to cross dangerous terrain, or sea travel. 

Final Boss Con May 17-18 Rio Grande, OH

A more recently-established event, Final Boss Con has TTRPG events alongside the usual cosplay, anime, horror movies, and general geek culture vendors. 

MomoCon May 22-25 Atlanta, GA

Those who enjoy the general convention atmosphere should like MomoCon, which goes heavy on the anime and cosplay but also features a sizable local TTRPG presence. 

GalaxyCon Oklahoma City May 23-25 Oklahoma City, OH

There’s a little bit of everything at GalaxyCon: celebrity meets, cosplay, comics, panels, video games, and of course a tabletop gaming room. 

Thy Geekdom Con May 23-25 Oaks, PA

A con for the Greater Philadelphia area, Thy Geekdom Con has anime, video games, cars, tattoos, and TTRPGs. 

Gamex May 23-26 Los Angeles, CA

Gamex is part of the quarterly Strategicon series of events. It focuses on tabletop games but also has LARP and card games. 

Dream Con May 30-June 1 Houston, TX

Dream Con emphasizes being a space for everyone, uplifting diverse voices and spotlighting talent that isn’t showcased elsewhere. They host TTRPG and board game play. 

Tremendicon May 30-June 1 Springfield, MO

This convention focuses on education and collaboration by hosting areas where creatives can learn and develop their craft. Tremendicon’s schedule includes writing and RPG game design workshops. You can also play TTRPGs in the game area. 

SaltCon June 6-8 Layton, UT

SaltCON is Utah’s largest board game and TTRPG convention which happens four times a year. 

Game And Geek Expo June 7-8 Raleigh, NC

Raleigh’s Game and Geek Expo is a general pop culture convention that has a dedicated tabletop gaming area. 

LFG Con June 13-15 Burbank, CA

This is a new one created by three local game store owners. LFG Con is dedicated to tabletop gaming with events spanning beloved favorites and the latest RPGs and CCGs. 

ATG Expo June 14-15 Waco, TX

This one is more of a competitive video game event, but the events page for ATG Expo does list a scant amount of card game and tabletop game info. 

Origins Game Fair June 18-22 Columbus, OH

The Origins Game Fair is a massive tabletop convention with a huge vendor hall and thousands of gaming events. 

Metrotham Con June 20-22 Dalton, GA

Georgia’s Metrotham Con is a sci-fi convention at heart, but it does have a tabletop gaming area. 

Soonercon June 20-22 Norman, OK

Soonercon is a general pop culture convention and has a dedicated tabletop gaming area. 

Southern-Fried Gaming Expo June 20-22 Atlanta, GA

Aside from taking the award for best named convention on this list, Southern-Fried Gaming Expo has a tabletop library. 

Finn-Con@MDC June 21 Miami, FL

Miami Dade College hosts Finn-Con, a free anime & gaming convention with a TTRPG room. 

Necronomicon Game Day June 21-22 Clearwater, FL 

At Necronomicon Game Day, you can enjoy a game library and play-to-win events.

PortConMaine June 26-29 South Portland, ME

The anime and sci-fi convention PortConMaine will have TTRPG play and an appearance by the Storyteller Squad actual play podcast. 

Planet Funk Con June 27-29 Davenport, IA 

Planet Funk Con is mostly comics and cosplay oriented, but there is a tabletop gaming area. 

TooManyGames June 27-29 Oaks, PA

You can never have too much gaming, but the TooManyGames convention is jam-packed with tabletop gameplay events and an appearance by the Faster Purple Worm! Kill! Kill! show. 

Ironweld July 9-13 Wakefield, MA

The New England-based Ironweld has plenty of TTRPGs and is also has a varied schedule for Warhammer enthusiasts in particular. 

GalaxyCon New Orleans July 11-13 New Orleans, LA

The GalaxyCon New Orleans version has celebrity panels, cosplay, comics, shopping, video games, and TTRPGs in a dedicated gaming room. 

ConnectiCon July 17-20 Harford, CA

You can go to ConnectiCon to see screenings, play in an arcade, see celebrities, and play a variety of indie TTRPGs. 

NEA Games Fest July 17-20 Jonesboro, AR

What makes NEA Games Fest unique compared to other TTRPG conventions is that the money raised goes towards charity. 

Billings Fun Con July 18-20 Billings, NT

Billings Fun Con has many of the events seen at other conventions–cosplay, panels, tournaments, tabletop gaming–but it also has a Food Truck Battle. 

Delta H Con July 18-20 Houston, TX

It’s got anime on the logo, but Delta H Con has a robust tabletop RPG gaming scene alongside the maid cafes and voice actor guests.  

Open Gaming Convention July 18-20 Westford, MA 

The Open Gaming Convention is all about tabletop, featuring over 100 RPGs, board games, and miniatures games. 

GalaxyCon Raleigh July 24-27 Raleigh, NC

At GalaxyCon Raleigh, you’ll find celebrity meet-and-greets, video games, cosplay, comics and tabletop games. 

ConQuest Ventura July 27-29 Ventura, CA 

The big draw of ConQuest is its board game tournaments, but there is a DnD AL and Pathfinder Society presence as well. 

StarCon July 27 - August 3 Rye, NH

StarCon is closer to a gaming resort than a convention in the best way. It takes place on Star Island in NH, and you’re encouraged take time in between TTRPG sessions to swim, lounge, or explore. 

GenCon July 31 - August 3 Indianapolis, IN 

North America’s biggest tabletop gaming convention is GenCon. There is of course lots of DnD, but you can also find plenty of tables showcasing competitors and brand news games.

GalaxyCon San Jose August 15-17 San Jose, CA

The San Jose GalaxyCon has celebrity visits, cosplay, comics, video game areas, and a TTRPG/card game room. 

Excalibur Con August 16-17 Duluth, MN

If you live in Northern Minnesota, you can go to Excalibur Con to satisfy your tabletop RPG needs.  

GACUCon Game Cruise August 17-23 Fort Lauderdale, FL

A convention in cruise in one, GACUCon features events like cocktail parties and laser tag alongside your TTRPG experience. 

2D Con August 22-24 Bloomington, MN 

The name of 2D Con implies an emphasis on classic video games, but there is a vibrant tabletop scene there as well. 

MiracleCon August 23 Edmund, OK 

The one day only MiracleCon event exists to raise money for Children's Miracle Network via Extra Life.

Dragon Con August 28 - September 1 Atlanta, GA

Dragon Con is one of the biggest pop culture conventions in America. It has its roots in literature from the sci-fi and fantasy genres, but there’s plenty of TTRPG play as well. 

SaltCON End of Summer August 29-31 Layton, UT

SaltCON is Utah’s largest board game and TTRPG convention which happens four times a year. This is the last one of 2025. 

Gateway August 29 - September 1 Los Angeles, CA 

Gateway is part of LA’s quarterly Strategicon series of events. It focuses on tabletop games but also has a vendor hall and LARP. 

Pacificon Game Expo August 29 - September 1 Santa Clara, CA

While Pacificon focuses a lot on wargaming competitions, there will be organized TTRPG play available. 

PAX West August 29 - September 1 Seattle, WA

The famous PAX convention makes its way west coast and delivers the same grouping of video games, celebrity appearances, and tabletop play. 

Ancient City Con September 12-14 St. Augustine, FL

The Ancient City Con has all the voice actors, artists, and celebrities you could want, plus tabletop gaming. 

GalaxyCon Des Moines September 12-14 Des Moines, IA

GalaxyCon DesMoines is a pop culture con with cosplay, comics, celebrities, and TTRPG/CCG play areas. 

Epic Mighty Con September 13 Wendell, NC 

Despite being very comic book focused, Epic Mighty Con does have a dedicated space for TTRPGs. 

SiouxperCon September 19-21 Sioux Falls, SD

SiouxperCon is a non-profit event to educate and bolster the community, and one of the ways it does that is by offering a tabletop gaming and RPG area. 

Rocky Con September 20-21 Hamilton, MT

There’s learn to play sessions plus DnD and Magic: The Gathering events at Rocky Con, all to support the Rocky Mountain Behavior Institute. 

Extremicon September 26-28 St Robert, MO 

Like most conventions, Extremicon offers a little bit of everything including TTRPG play. 

Battle Barge October 5-11 Galveston, TX

This is a dedicated Warhammer 40k event on a cruise ship. Alongside the traditional wargaming component will be RPG play that ties into Battle Barge’s weekend-long narrative.

ConQuest Avalon October 10-12 Sacramento, CA

This rendition of ConQuest features fantasy focused board games and RPGs. 

GalaxyCon St. Louis October 10-12 St. Louis, MO

Hit up GalaxyCon St. Louis for TTRPG play as well as cosplay, comics, celebrities, and a vendor hall. 

Tsubasacon October 10-12 Charleston, WV

The West Virginia based anime convention called Tsubasacon has video and tabletop gaming available. 

Carnage October 24-26 Killington, VT

Billing itself as “Northern New England's best tabletop gaming convention,” Carnage lists RPGs, card games, board games, miniatures, and more under its event schedule. 

DerpyCon October 31 - November 2 New Brunswick, NJ

It’s primarily an anime con, but DerpyCon does list tabletop gaming on its front page.

Effing-Con November 1-2 Effingham, IL

No it’s not covering a swear word. Effing-Con is named after its hometown of Effingham and offers video games and tableto. 

Philcon November 21-23 Cherry Hill, NJ

Philcon is a science fiction convention that also has a tabletop gaming room.
