Dragon Age Inquisition One-on-One [PBP] 🌶️

How to prepare

This is an asynchronous play-by-post game played by Discord with a dice roller bot. This means that posts will be made throughout the week; it's to the pace of the group. I can link a Forge (Foundry) game to roll and integrate that, but it's not required. All playing will be done by text, making things accessible for those who aren't able to use voice. I will update at least daily. You will get to experience the story and the roleplay, while also learning about--or getting more experience with--play-by-post format and Avrae. You do not need to know Avrae, or any of the other tools. I can teach you. What I provide

There are two GMs! You can choose your preference. We will be teaching you the AGE System as we go. The Discord (either Dreams' Discord, or a private one, your preference) will have a dice bot, and form for your character sheet. We will work with you one-on-one to integrate your character into the story. The Game Masters: 🔷Enigma GMs with the help of various tools about 20 years of experience with text roleplay. He prefers long-form writing. If you want extremely immersive, thorough posts, go with him. 🔷 Dreams (who has more than 20 years experience), tends towards a quicker style. Shorter, more to the point posts throughout the day.

Gameplay details

🏳️‍🌈♾️👨🏾‍🦲 This is a safe table for people of all types. Dreams is trans and queer, Enigma is LGBTQIA+, and we are both neurodivergent. We hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 👨🏾‍🦲♾️🏳️‍🌈 Safety tools will always be in effect; this game is a safe and inclusive place. We will use safety cards, Monte-Cooke consent form, lines and veils, and any other safety tools the group needs. Both Enigma and Dreams are neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+, and seek to provide a safe table for all players. Accessibility is a big part of the game, and accommodations will be made to meet your needs so that you can have fun. The following will NOT be featured in our games: 🔷 Sexual Assault/Non-Consensual Sex 🔷 Exploitation of Minors 🔷 Real life imagery of sabotage/destruction [GIFs, Photos, and Videos] 🔷 Player-on-Player gaslighting, bullying, or negativity 🔷 Player-on-Player TRASH [transphobia, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia] behavior This is a play-by-post campaign, meaning that players will post their actions and responses to the game thread whenever they have time. How will character creation work

The date is 9:41 Dragon. The game takes place during a time of great turmoil when a massive explosion destroys the Conclave peace talks between mages and templars, creating a dangerous tear in the sky called the Breach. The player characters will, as a party, be the only ones with the ability to close the Rifts. I will share the Dragon Age core rulebook for you to create your characters from. We will roll together for stats.
