About the adventure

As some of the most infamous adventurers and monster hunters, you will take on the the kinds of jobs no other will take. But the highest bounty has been set by a retired noble. A giant mallard has been terrorising the countryside, no adventurer has yet been able to track it, and none have fought it and lived! A high level campaign starting at level 14 focusing on fighting the most absurd and ridiculous creatures in existence.

Game style

Rule of Cool (RoC)

“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.

Combat Heavy

“Combat Heavy” games emphasize the combat mechanics within their systems over roleplay or puzzle solving. There are frequent and longer battles with enemies and a greater emphasis on tactical game play.

West Marches

West Marches games are typically ran as “drop-in / drop-out” campaigns, where a pool of players hop into sessions as they are available or as sessions align with their schedules. How to prepare

Players need to have a Discord account and download TaleSpire. The guest/demo version can be downloaded as guest seats are available for TaleSpire

What I provide

Players can expect varied and tactical combat as they fight the most ridiculous creatures the multiverse has to offer. While I adhere to the rules as much as possible, rule of cool is always in effect. Your character is a hero and should feel like one! Players will be immersed from the get go with character voices, ambient music and sound effects. Using TaleSpire as VTT, players don't need to worry about purchasing it as guest seats are available.

Gameplay details

A lines & veils survey will be sent out to players. It will not be shared with other players. Since this is a high level game where combat will be a focus, there is a high risk of one or more characters not surviving an encounter.

How will character creation work
