About the adventure
Learn to adventure as a kid in the 80s that never was! Adults are distant, school is boring, and oh yeah, there are robots and hoverships about. Although you share your hometown with the mysterious particle accelerator facility known as the Loop, your life seems ordinary until one day one of your friends disappears. What will you do? Tales from the Loop uses Free League's Mutant: Yero Zero engine, easy to learn but great fun to play. Payers play kids who balance their ordinary lives with strange mysteries caused by the presence of the Loop. This scenario is out of the Starter Set and is perfect for newcomers to the game. It's a good game for those who liked Stranger Things. The game will run on the Alchemy Virtual Tabletop Tool, which is a highly useful service for running Free League games and enables easy access to everything needed to run the Tales From the Loop Starter Set.

We played Tales From The Loop last night, one of my favorite RPGs. Caestus was a solid game master. He trained the group on the new tabletop VTT called Alchemy which was easy and fun to use. He knew the Year Zero Engine rules well and ran the game smoothly.

Caestus was really helpful in trying to figure out some tech difficulties at the beginning of the session, and was a lovely GM once the story got underway. He wove our character backgrounds into the story seamlessly, making for some fun RP. All in all, a real good time!

Booked a game last minute. Most DM's would never run it last minute. Not only did Caestus run the game, they were a amazing story teller, ran a super fun session, had awesome intros and narratives and played the AI NPC so great I felt like I was in the opening scene of a SCIFI movie! I got more content done WITH character creation than in any previous 3 hour session and I play a LOT of rpg's. Will book again 100%! Do the same!

How to prepare
Players will need a microphone (Video is not needed) and should create a free account on Alchemy. I will teach how to play the game and characters are pre-generated, so there is not much preparation required.
What I provide
I'll bring the Alchemy system, which allows for images, maps and even music and sound effects, plus my own experience as a gm for years. I focus on making sure all the players enjoy themselves.
Gameplay details
Alchemy builds in the ability to create Lines and Veils as well as use X cards. We will create any needed Lines and Veils at the beginning of the session
