The Mysterious Mansion (Pathfinder 2E Version)

About the adventure

You wake up in a bed in a room; you cannot remember who or where you are. Now you must work together with the other strangers (at least you think they are strangers) in the mansion to remember who you are and return home. Each player will write a short backstory that will be randomly assigned to another player. Details of the backstories will be revealed throughout the game as certain actions trigger memories. Players must work together to figure out what happened and how to escape this strange mansion. Players should enjoy hearing bits and pieces of backstory as they come to light through the actions the characters take and be willing to roleplay having lost their memory. This is a Pathfinder 2e version of this game. If you prefer to play DnD 5e, you can search for this same title and see available time slots or message me to request a custom game.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Game will be played via private discord channel using voice and video chat (video is optional). There will be a discord dice bot for all rolls. Players should have a copy of their character sheet on hand (digital or print).

I will be happy to share my maps and the outline of the story after we are done playing so you can use it yourself if you want.

Gameplay details

Players can expect lots of exploring and role play as someone who has lost all of their memories. We will start with session 0 and allow for finishing of character sheets followed by a shorter session of play for the first round. X,N,O cards will be via discord channel or can be held up on camera. Consent checklist boundaries will anonymously be posted on the discord channel pre-game.

How will character creation work

Each player will need to create a bullet point style backstory that is class/ancestry ambiguous. This backstory will be assigned to a different player's character and someone else's backstory will be assigned to you. These backstories should be kept secret from other players. You will get to watch as someone learns details about their character that you wrote. This makes for a very fun and interesting game.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
