Revolution at the North Pole

About the adventure

This special Christmas mini adventure takes place in The North Pole. Since Santa has taken his mantle as Father Christmas, the holidays of old have been tossed the wayside and forgotten. Christmas spirit, primarily collected by our modern world, is at an all time low. The rise of technology and over commercialization of Christmas as well as Santa not delivering presents as usual have led to a sharp decline in Christmas Spirit. This has led to rolling black outs at the North Pole, and most notably, glitches in the aurora borealis shield. This is where you come in. You are someone who has beef with Christmas, or maybe even Santa himself. Perhaps you are from an old pagan holiday? Perhaps an over worked parcel delivery person. Someone on the inside has been in communication with you. You have learned that the elves have been overworked and those who speak up have been imprisoned, forced to make presents that are never delivered. Your informant has told you they will completely drop the shield during the next black out, allowing you to slip inside. It's time to finally put your plans in action...

How to prepare

You will not need a webcam. You will need a PC that meets Foundry's minimum specifications. I also recommend reliable headphones and microphone for ease of playing.

What I provide

We will be playing on Foundry VTT and using discord for voice.

Gameplay details

I will be holding a very brief session 0 during the 1st session to go over lines and veils, answer any questions you may have, assist with character creation if need be, and get us started!

How will character creation work

You may use any option available in the DDB campaign for character creation! Please create characters with a winter/Christmas theme to help create a cohesive story! You recommend creating your character ahead of time, and I will assist you best I can!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
