About the adventure

Year 1109 The Cradle declared themselves an Empire after conquering nearly all of Spain. When the war began public opinion saw that the Cradle was merely defending themselves against the kingdom that has attacked them. After a few years of war and territory being taken from Spain by The Cradle opinions began to change. The Cradle has left Spain with a single city to their kingdom and continuously encroach on their lands. This has left the city, now called Loena, to suffer in poverty. The other kingdoms of the world have maintained relative peace. Most of the God Kings of the Realms of Panterra maintain a good rapport with one another. Around the year 1050 the kingdom of Expanning procured the city now known as Smauhk from a kingdom based in the south Desert, the details of the procurement have never been fully disclosed to anyone outside Expanning. The black sections of the Central Panterra map are unknown and off-limits to the citizens of the kingdoms, though the God Kings have been revealing more of the world to their people over time. The last time a section was revealed was 85 years ago that informed the populace about three far-off kingdoms that may threaten the peace of Central Panterra. The learning of these kingdoms often prompts young men and women to sign themselves up for their kingdom's armies. On a lighter note, the Emperor has just declared the start of a new art contest to decide which five artists will have the opportunity to paint the portraits of the Empirical Family. The new contest is starting early as a part of a celebration of the recent capture of an assassin that tried to kill the Empirical family. ***** Panterra has its own handbooks full of setting details; new items, feats, backgrounds; Alternative Spell Point spellcasting rules; New Class options each with at least 3 archetypes: The Gunslinger, and a Dark Souls & Bloodborne inspired class: the Fromnite.

Lovecraftian horrors may play a large role depending on player choices. Characters being forced to perform in ways they would not normally is a possibility; The Sanity rules are in play in many areas of the game. Any worries/concerns can be discussed prior to signing up.

How will character creation work

Characters can begin at Level 1, or they can begin as a Commoner class and play a starting adventure to earn an extra feat/bonus. Players will all have to agree on which method they will all start with. Players can create their characters at any point prior to the first session. Session 0 will take place on Discord in text chat and use as much time as players might need.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
